One set apiece! This has five setter written all over it. C'mon Novak.

    Why? He won't beat Djokovic.

Even if he doesn't, making the Wimbledon final is hardly 'basically over'. And you never know.

he did have an easy run, but he's still in the final. staying in the mix for that moment when there's a great opportunity. That's how he won at Roland Garros, and it could happen here.

If I were a betting man, I'd offer you a wager on that

I'd bet on Federer for Sunday. He won't let a chance for one final Wimbledon, and the chance to put more distance between himself and Rafa, get away.

Federer vs. Djokovic, for me, is the ideal title matchup. I absolutely have zero preference for who wins - Djoker is my boy, but I want Fed to get that last major.

Federer regularly had Djokvoic's number in days gone by, most notably at Roland Garros in 2011. He should have put Djokovic away at the US Open that year, but didn't convert on a match point. That loss still irks me, because it would have given us a Federer-Nadal matchup at the US Open.

Yeah, Federer likes to be the King of Wimbledon. He won't go down easy.

Joining the tennis club is like joining a tennis club: you have to be invited to join by someone who's already a member, and although it's not stated openly there's a minimum household income level too. Discrimination based on race or ethnicity? Don't be absurd.

And Kvitova is hitting some monster angles!

So bummed. Not that she lost, but that she lost like that in her first Slam final. She'll be back.

As long as I don't have to see Rafa bite another trophy, I'm happy with either RF or ND. Genie will be back. She's got a great attitude and the will. Can't wait to see her when she comes back to Canada.

I suspect Nadal only does that at this point because he's always done it, and the media around him expects it. Could be wrong, of course, and no way to know, but that's my guess.

He was exhausted and not doing well physically at Roland Garros, and seemed more to want to just get off the court than anything else.

Could have gone the other direction, like Jana Novotna. Of course, Novotna won a title in 1998, so it worked out just fine.

Fair play to Djokovic for giving the has-been the first set out of pity. Lovely guy :)

long have I waited to see the Federer of old. Or nearly. I totally would have given Djokovic the edge in the tiebreaker.

Has Djokovic got a bet on how many Aces Federer will get?
