ugh. Novak can't catch a break, after being in dominant form for a considerable amount of time.

At least it's almost hard court season.

The women's semi-finals are up tomorrow - either Venus or Jo Konta will go home.

She's quite good, too. Should give Venus a good match.

Muguruza is taking no prisoners, though. Going to be a tough final for anyone that draws her.

I like Venus but Konta is from GB - not sure who to cheer for.

cheer for venus. she hasn't won a major in nearly a decade and is unlikely to get many more chances, especially after her sister comes back. konta is only 26 and should make many more deep runs on the grass.

I still remember Martina Navratilova at Wimbledon in 1994, runner up at age 37. If Venus could win it at the same age, it would be incredible.

I remember that match too, watched it with my dad. Conchita Martinez. I think that was her only Slam.

We were both pulling for Martina.

Hey - I'm a Yank who lives in the UK. Hence the indecision..

Konta vs Williams is second up on Center Court. Muguruza vs Rybarikova is first at 1 PM UK time.

Williams/Muguruza looks like it could be a fantastic match. 37 year old Venus in her second slam final of 2017 and doesn't have to play her sister!

muguruza cruised. venus pretty much cruised after breaking to take the first set. she looks so focused, should be a great final.

oh, and i'm predicting fed doesn't drop a set from here on out on his way to the title. it's his year. i know i originally predicted a fedal final, but i was going to predict federer in straight sets in that one as well.

Yeah, Venus was having a better day than Konta. Tomorrow's order of play on Center Court is Querrey vs Cilic followed by Federer vs Berdych. Start time is 1 PM UK time.

Berdych hasn't beat Federer since 2013, though they've played 7 times since then.

Querrey takes the opening set. Hopefully they can both keep this level of focus.

6 am my time, pretty early for me on a saturday, but i'm gonna try to make it.

cilic looks pretty good, but this is like peak fed. fingers crossed that we get a battle for the number one ranking between federer and nadal in the fall of 2017, just like old times.

Cilic has more than a puncher's chance, but Roger looks awfully good. Would love to see him get another Slam. Two in one year at age 37 would be remarkable.

I still remember how crazy it seemed in 1991 to watch Connors in the U.S. Open semifinal. Connors accumulated something like 30 slam semifinal appearances over his career. Federer's almost there with slam finals.
