Feeling of accomplishment and rewarding yourself for your hard work

If I drank a beer after writing a post, I think I'd be an alcoholic or very sick

For me, writing is the reward. I spend much of my time reading dead languages, so it's nice to take a break and work in my native tongue for a while

 

I go and make myself a coffee, hot or iced according to what I feel like, supplementing it with some of my "fic chocolate". I always have a block of dark chocolate next to the computer to "stimulate" me.

Please do not promote consumption of alcohol by prescribing it as a suitable reward for writing fanfic.
