    Just wondering how many females we have in these forums. It seems that the sci-fi genre is mainly male oriented, so I was wondering how many females are into sci-fi, especially Star Wars.

    This is far from a complete list, but I get the feeling that if you don?t know that there are indeed lots of girls on the forum, you would be disappointed. Here is a list of some of the more active female posters.

    Actually, I was just wondering. I have been on other sites and used their forums and it was about 95% guys. Just wondering where all the SW girls were hanging out at...LOL

    the fanfiction boards(stories and writers' resource) are mainly dominated by females. it makes sense, since females are shown to have more communicating skills than males.

    I'm a girl, but brand new to actually POSTING stuff. but now i have to go somewhere else to vent since all my friends are 20 books behind me. they don't even know about chewie. tsk. tsk.

    Hey DDJ, I tried the site but it didn't work!
    i think i know why the forum is more guys than girls, it's because even though there's quite a few girls who think Star Wars is good, they don't bother going online to talk about it. it's about comittment level. for example, i collect books and all the lego (yeah, I know i'm just about 16, but i LOVE lego!), but i don't collect action figures or figurines, or comics, except for the TPBs. but then there's my friend, who doesn't come on here, but on Naboo Online, that has a HUGE collection. however, she got to be in England when the Art of Star WArs was on, and I didn't. grrrrr...

    I am soooooooo used to there being more guys than girls. I go to RPI afterall ;)

    But yeah, a lot of people out there think SW is a guys thing or a kids or teenagers thing. That's like saying that Harry Potter is a kids thing. It's just not true, I tell you!!

    But yeah, to all the females on here: Stick around!

    But I'm taken, in case you wanted to know. I met my love right here. The first post he made to me was a put down, which told me right away that it would be true love. ;) The first thought that went through my mind when I ran across him in the forums long before he even knew I existed was, "OMG, this guy's just like my father, what an ***hole." :D No joke. :) Definitely true love.
