FF Chapter Twinning Program

This thread is to see if there is any interest in having the Rebels take part in a new program aimed at increasing relations and diversity between various FF Chapters by forming a close alliance between two chapters that might not normally have anything to do with each other. Think of it as a Virtual Sister City. It seems like it could be fun. What do you folks think.

I am interested what do we need to do to start?

I would like to endorse Indianapolis.
David H.and I had a great time at the clubs and met great local people there.

And just in case Celebration 3 should be there again.

As far as what we would be doing? It could be as simple as posting on each others forums or go as far as having joint meetings someday.(Depending on distance and willingness to travel.)

the question of which city will depend on which chapters sign up. We will be allowed to suggest which chapter we would like to have and won't be paired up with one if we don't agree with the choice.

 

Has another FF showed interest in the Rebels yet? Or is this the launching of this group collaboration.

 

At this point things are just getting started. To my knowledge no chapters have been partnered yet. I have not seen anyone ask to be partnered with the Rebels yet.

Hey I'd vote for Aussies. I love Australia Sydney is a great city because it actually is similar to Boston (both metropolitan, old, and on the water.) Course Melly is great too- I lived outside of there for a few months as a kid.

We had an Aussie that came around and posted here.Havent seen 88 in awhile tho . Maybe he doesnt like us anymore

 

Sheesh- it looks like it's only been a month that he hasn't been around ... maybe he's off prowling the streets of Sydney trying to catch a glimpse of George et al - I know that's what I woudl be doing if I was down there right now

Atlanta would be cool cuz it would be Rebels-Rebels.

 

I was hoping for Indianapolis or Hawaii or even Vegas.

Indianapolis - had a great time friendly people good night life , well when I was there it was cool. Very clean city too.
Much different than Boston.

Hawaii- I think we should start a FF exchange program. Have a sponsor family to stay for a few weeks in the winter.

Vegas- Gambling,Wayne Newton, showgirls, need I say more. oh yeah can we get a FF exchange program there too. With hopefully some credit on some chips at the casinos.

 

The only ones that I see that would be kinda fun,would be FF France,or Moncton.Culture shock,to say the least

No offense to the other chapters but for the most part their all in the Northeast.Can visit them whenever we want really.

 

Yeah it would be much cooler if we could bother people from other countries. Less chance we'll get beaten up
