FF:WA FF Graphics- Vote and Post

As stated in the graphics thread, this vote determines which banner will be used first.

Anyway, voted... And just curious, how long are the banners going to be up for each time? Or is that yet to be decided?

I think a month would be long enough. If it's not then there's no reason why we couldn't repeat some we've had before.

Yeah I think changing it each month would be a good idea. Maybe make it so no one can have a banner of their design up two months in a row to make sure we have some variety.

Another thing to sort out that's kinda on topic. Where will the images be stored? The current ones are on my server space. If they stay there it would mean that I'd need to be the one changing them. Do you have webspace Sith_Leia, because it's probably better if they're changed by the current city rep. We could get the admins to change the links to different online images each time but it's a lot easier just uploading different images to the same locations when changes are needed.

 

no i don't have webspace soneil shara has kindly leant me some of her webspace ..but i'm thinking it would easier running it off the OR inc website?

I voted for Dingbat one with all the bandages. Its alot different then any other banner I've seen so that gets my pick. Good job Dingbat.

Can anyone post a banner or is it members only?

 

Anyone can post a banner, these boards are supported by Outer Rim, they are not run by Outer Rim, and so therefore no form of membership applies unless specifically stated.... in most cases (9 out of 10) it will be an open poll, or an open submission.

Just touched-up my banner a bit

 

Editing your submission after it has been put to a vote just confuses everything. Everyone who has voted now has the problem of deciding whether or not your new submission deserved the vote that they have already given, or whether they wish to retract their vote due to your changes. In the future, can everyone please stick to the original submissions and not make any alterations while it is being put to a vote.

Yes they are ...but if you do that during a poll kinda makes the poll invalid.

And what about the other sections that must be created for the banner? I only saw the main top piece, I think FA did a few thou.
