I did graphics for all the sections that were listed.

 

Yeah I thought you did, what about the others? Unless we use some of FA stuff with the winner's banner. If thats okay with her of course.

I've got a zip file with my banner sliced up into all the individual files over here. I've also included the original photoshop file in that zip file incase I screwed something up.

 

For future reference, could all designs please stay with in the limits stated as DS has just had to cut down Dingbat's one that is going up there.

I'm not having a go at anyone here and appreciate all the hard work and effort you have put into these, but as it takes time to edit it...the more time it takes to get uploaded.

 

The Banner is interesting but it could be off-putting to people wanting to join.

It does however represent all of you rather well.

Well we got a custom banner before the other states so it's only fitting for us to be officially recognised as wearers of snazzy jackets before the other states too.

Ding bat, I have used your cut up version, and I agree it runs good, on a test runn, but when i uploaded it to the site and refreshed, the glitch still remains...... It could be a minor code error that we have no control over.

But thanks for the zipped version anyway.

Could we get the forum colours changed? The current colours were chosen to match the old banner and don't look so great with the new one.
And another thing. I notice that the new banner shows on some pages and the old one on others (like it is right now). I don't think it's coming from my browser's cache since it's been changed for about a week now.

 

I could ask , but that would mean changing colours every month and with the banner on the post a reply page.. the only admin (Mystery Sith) that can change it, is off at celebration 2, so it might take a while.

 

Do we all want to take a poll for the next banner going up? and so on for each following banner?

 

I wouldn't worry about that, I will just randomly rotate the images once per month.

If anyone else submits anything else it can just be slotted into the rotation.

I actually asked Soup the same question, and it would be too fiddly to get it changed, and unfortunately there is no neutral colour scheme that will suit all the banners, he's tried it...

Oh well. May be hard to pick a neutral colour scheme but I just figured there'd have to be a colour scheme that's more neutral than the brown one. I guess I can live with it.

 

ummm just a question for everyone... on the Aust/NZ main page instead of it saying "Outer Rim" Say "Collect your straight jacket at the door" but still have the link up for the OR website?

Since the club is up and running , do you still want me to change it.?

 

Won't that have to be changed everytime the banner changes thou as it won't make sense to newcomers?

 

That's why i'm asking ... FA asked a while ago to have it put up ...besides the Fanforce boards are entirely different from the club.

So it's up to everyone...i've sent Shara a PM.

 

They're separate but it wouldn't hurt to promote the club. After all, members of the club certainly promote fanforce.

The main reason why I suggested it getting changed to "Get your straighjacket at the door" or whatever it was, was because that seemed to be our catch-cry whenever we found a newcomer on the boards, so I thought it was fitting...
