Calgary FF group picture

I have been contacted by a photographer from Fast Forward magazine. They'd like to take a group photo that will accompany the article that Aubrey is writing. There are two dates we're looking at (depending on Marc's availability):

Sunday, April 15
or
Sunday, April 22

The photo will be taken in the afternoon, so hopefully many of you can make it out. We'd like to have as many members as possible in the photo - costumed AND non-costumed.

I'll let you guys know when the final date has been decided.

I probably can't make it to this, unless it early in the day, or late in the night.

 

I vote for 22nd. I'll be in Kelowna on the 15th.

 

This is not a vote. It's when the photo guys says it is. This is just a heads up. If it was a vote we could do it on any day and just give him a picture.

 

Ok then, I didn't quite grasp that. I'll change it from a vote to "I hope he's available on the 22nd."

 

Marc contacted me again - the afternoon of the 15th works better for him. So...

...if you'd like to be in the picture, please post here. We need to get some numbers for the shot. He will likely take a few pictures and then winnow them down, depending on which ones work best.

I know Red5 would like us to include the shop in the photo - I'll mention it to Marc and see what he thinks. Space may be an issue though (depending on how many people can make it out).

Remember - NON-COSTUMED members are encouraged to come out as well!

I'm there also and there will be plenty of room either inside the store or outside with the sign maybe featured in it .

 

If we are not costumed, can we be holding something? (like a bucket or saber hilt?)

 

You do not need a costume. Yes you can hold your bucket or wear a SW shirt.

 

Cool I'll be there. Can I wear a Sith Robe or a Darth Maul costume?

 

The choice is entirely up to you

Location hasn't been decided as yet. I'm waiting to hear back from Marc - Red5 may not be big enough. I'll let you guys know as soon as we decide.

Come in costume Jamie. We need a Padme!

 

I should be able to go! I would do the Queen Amidala battle handmaiden costume.

Okay - heard back from Marc. If we moved the date to Sunday, the 22nd, would more of you be able to make it out?

I think we should be a go for This sunday and if the weather doesn't cooperate then we try next sunday.

 

Next sunday would work better for me, but go with the numbers.

 

I know for sure this Sun works for me, I might have to go to Edmonton next Sunday, but i'm not sure. Whatever works best for everyone!

Time: 4 PM
Place: meet at Red 5 (2915 Richmond Road SW)

If you need time to change, I would recommend showing up a little earlier and I'm sure Ryan will let you into the store to change (right Ry??).

Hopefully more of you can make it out!

 

Yep I can be there at 3:30 if people need or earlier depending on how long it takes you guys to get ready.
