When i find one i'll call you! ;)

At Venice i've attended university and now i work (more or less) there. It's a wonderfull city for holiday, but living there it's quite difficult.

I forgot to say that a friend of mine has been, last year, in Coimbra for 9 months with the Erasmus project. I must call her and ask to teach me portoguese a little. :D

    Nice! :)

i don't know anybody that did...
but there are people who do! i know this because my mom used to work in the agency that handles Erasmus and other EU projects before she retired :)
some people love it, but it's not all fun and games though. some people can suffer a severe culture shock, and they feel isolated and depressed, completely alone in a foreign country. it's scary
as for me, i love my confortable home, and i can't afford going abroad to study without a big fat grant :p
(the Eramus grant isn't that big, at least around here)

Ok ok!! You can come to portugal and then go to pizza hut with me and try to make one of those. Even make a Guinness record :p :p (I will correct then, it was an honest mistake! I would like to visit the "Tower of Pisa")

I never heard of the name Eramus. I searched the net and found this site. So i now know it's a stundents exchange program, i've heard of those. Sounds nice. But it's true what Alma said. Some persons can suffer a cultural shock and feel alone/depressed.

Sabine, be sure to tell us how it went (with your thesis). :)
