    4. Who lose their ability to regenerate their limbs when they reach middleage?

    5. What?s 21.5 meters long in the SW-reality, but actually was only 0.69 meters long as a miniature?

    6. What was the reason behind the wampa scene (if there's any)?

    7. How long is the ?double chili dog??

    8. What?s the name of the last rebel transport to leave Hoth?

    9. What is the combat speed of a T-47?

    10. What?s the meaning of the topknot braids of the guards of Jabba?s prisoners?

Good luck to you all again! [:D]

    Reminder:

  2. Please, keep an eye on your spelling.

  3. Please, remember also to put your source next to each of your answers.

  4. And as the last point, please, put the following line in the subject of your PM with the answers for this round: "[team name], ESB, week 2". This makes it a bit more easier for me.

  5. Thanks to you all. :)

    Not to be discriminating, but...

    1. Isn't question 1 actually two questions?

    2. Isn't question 10 supposed to wait until the RotJ game?

Nat, that sounds like the normal life at the boards. Having an (e-)family, getting to know new people and so on. Just the thing about breathing is a bit weird. :p

Skye, I know you can argue like this, but both parts of the questions are about the same topic and I wanted to give you an idea about what I am speaking about without giving you the name straight away - that would be too easy (as good as you all are!). ;) :)

    To answer your second question:
    :)

Tough ones? I thought you'll know half of them by heart (and me giving you an easy week).

Now I'm curious about your answers. :D

Half of # 1 was easy... the other half, not so much :p

I also learned that it is highly entertaining to listen to the DVD's at 2X normal speed.

Really? [face_laugh] It seems that I've even trained your listening skills. :p

Which part was easier? The first or second part? :)
(It's ok to tell me, time is over now and otherwise I wouldn't ask. :) )

I can quote the odds 3PO gives off in my sleep.

It's the production notes and trivia that's harder. For instance, the one question about the scale model to in-universe size I answered based on the size in universe. Finding model sizes is hard.

At least that's my opinion. If it's in universe, it's easy to find.

Although you said that the questions were tough, you did well and give each other a hard fight. But before I show you the results...

    ...here are the correct answers:

    1. Which odd is 3,720 to 1 and what was it made of in RL?
A: The odds of successfully navigating an asteroid field are approximately 3,720 to 1.
To create the asteroids, Industrial Light & Magic used polystyrene pieces surfaced with plaster. At least one asteroid is, in fact, a potato filmed using a motion control camera.

    2. What was used to torture Han Solo in Cloud City exactly?
    A: A modified Figg & Partners scanner

    3. Which was the production name of a ship which models was 0.99 meters high 2.47 meters long?
    A: Rebel cruiser

    4. Who lose their ability to regenerate their limbs when they reach middleage?
    A: Trandoshan

    5. What?s 21.5 meters long in the SW-reality, but actually was only 0.69 meters long as a miniature?
    A: Slave I

    6. What was the reason behind the wampa scene (if there?s any)?
A: A car crash of Luke

    7. How long is the ?double chili dog??
    A: 7.8 meters

    8. What?s the name of the last rebel transport to leave Hoth?
    A: Bright Hope

    9. What is the combat speed of a T-47?
    A: ~600km/h

    10. What?s the meaning of the topknot braids of the guards of Jabba?s prisoners?
A: each topknot braid stands for one sriluur year they?re not at home

    And now... the results:

    Northeast Geeks -- 4 + 0 = 4
    Tucson FF -------- 0 + 0 = 0
    Colorful Lunatics - 10 + 9 = 19
    SAFF ------------- 9 + 9 = 18

*speculates* If the Colorful Lunatics continue their way, they'll get 8 points the next time. If SAFF coninues their way as well, then both teams will have the same points. Interesting game! :D

Interesting trend :) And if it continues to round four then the Looneys are toast [face_devil]

    Oh, and question 2....

[maxwell smart] Off course! The Figg and Partners scanner! It has to be the Figg and Partners scanner. What else could it be but the Figg and Partners scanner. Just one question Chief. What is a Figg and Partners scanner? [/maxwell smart]

I'm really curious for the next rounds and how trained you'll come back after C4. :D

Speaking of which, will Round Four be suspended for CIV activities? This does appear to be done each weekend, but round 4's weekend is CIV.

You know that I won't name the sources until the whole game ends, but I'll look up the paragraph again to post it here. But I can't do it right now, because I don't have the offline-source with me. So, please, be a bit patient. Thanks. :)

About C4, as I stated on the first page I will do a break for C4, so everyone can enjoy C4. This is a FanForce-game and C4 is a FanForce-event, so I think it's just fair to give everyone the chance to participate at both. :)

Before I give out the next ten questions, I like to say that I haven't forgotten to look up the passage. Hopefully I can do this within in the next few hours. :)

Your questions for the third weekend:

    1. How many patients could the ship treat which Luke was last seen on in ESB?

    2. With what tool did Chewbacca hit the hyperdrive during the escape of Bespin from the Executor?

    3. How did the Wampa manage to hang Luke upside down on the ceiling of his cave?

    4. Who forced whom to build cloud city?

    5. If you had wanted to buy a new toy from ESB, which one would have been the first you would have been able to hold in your hands?

    6. Which weapons does the bounty hunter, who wears a towel on his head, use?

    7. There are whales that can fly. Which people could ride/fly them originally?

    8. What kind of rifle does the rebeltrooper use on Hoth?

    9. Which 1.5m tall thing rescued Luke from dieing on Hoth?

    10. What?s the different between the uniform of an AT-AT pilot and a TIE fighter pilot?

Have much fun and good luck to you all! [:D]

    Hmmm... I'm hoping the pattern we create is 10 - 9 - 10 :p

    And yay for new questions.

    I didn't like 2 last time.

Let's see which pattern you choose. ;) :D

To the topic of 'Figg & Partner scanner':

?Als die bekannte Firma 'Figg & Partner' Ihr Scangitter entwickelte, konnte sie nicht ahnen, dass Ihr Gerät als Folterwerkzeug traurige Berühmtheit erlangen würde.?

(When the known company 'Figg & Partner' developed their scanner, they didn't knew that their instrument will get famous as an instrument of torture.)
