FF Twinning

Howdy kids! My names Mike and my fellow NJers and I have been expressing interest in becoming your sister city in the FanForce twinning program, so I thought I'd head on over and let you guys know! We've been official for only about 4 months now so we're still kinda wet behind the ears...but we've had a lot of help from the other local groups, like SWNYC, DB516 and the Philly Outer Rim. So here we are expressing our interest. Let us know what you think!

Yeah the PMs have been screwy all day....posts too. I had a couple get chomped.

We are lucky to have Dragon*Con here in Atlanta.

You know, if it weren't for Dragon*Con, I'd probably never get to go to a truly large Sci-Fi/Fantasy convention.

Are any of you planning to come down for Dragon*Con?

 

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like any of us will be able to make it down there. I know it's just too much money and too little preparation time for me. I really wanted to go too.

 

Perhaps you can plan to come on down in 2004.

 

Yes...those who wish to be our Twin City need to be thinking on a mass trip down for DragonCon.

It's probably a good thing you're not coming down this year. They appear to be taking a bit of a breather on SW guests. But if Ray Park actually does show up, that wouldn't be too bad.

Lessee...what could be fun to do in your area? What are the cool conventions and/or activities?

 

Well we have a convention in New Jersey coming up next year that's being run by one of our good friends in the area......but I think I've already said too much about it for right now!

 

When you have more info, let us know. There's always a few of us that are up for a road trip.
