FF-UK North Discussion Thread

im with you on having a meet up for us northen guys -
hold on were are all over the place here some of us are close to manchester and others yorkshire one or two in the midlands so a meet up should be some where in the middle how about york -.

 

We need somewhere that easily accessible via train, Leeds has a big railway system.

 

York is an excellent suggestion


It would even satisfy my missus as I can have my StarWars meet and she can go and see old things



Think on this I will.

 

how about blackpool pleasure beach!

 

York is good also, lets make a good decision!

 

I prefer York as a destination. It'll take the Manchester contingent just as long to get to as Blackpool but it's more central for anyone on the Northeastern side.


I don't particularly like Blackpool as a place anyway but thats my own opinion. If we decided on a meet there I'd still come but the missus would stay at home as theres not a lot to do for a one year old and it's mother (York's obviously better for that!)

 

yeah, theres more kids play areas in york.

 

what kinda things happen in york? just curious...

 

Wives and Girlfriends take themselves to the cafe's to chat whilst the Lads have a SW fest!

 

Too be honest I'm not sure I just know it's a place my missus wants to go to and as it's full of old relics so she can have a stroll while I meet you rabble over a quiet beer (or similar)

im in the middle of ordeing my outfit i may look a bit out of place with new rocks on and a strangly diffrent belt but im all jedi -
im not one for useing light sabers - i hate any kind of fighting but there are rules to fighting in a way .

i strangly learned how to fence when i was a boy at school and i dont mean the garden type of fence - fenceing as in sword fighting .

so yes the york sounds great my friends but when - how about october - ?

It's after Signotopia, when those going can get to know one another first and decide if we can tolerate each others company knowing full well if we can't there are other things to occupy us

Saturday is best, or maybe sunday when its rainy because not many people will be out thus less traffic and more space to the SW fans

 

Saturday would suit me more than a Sunday.

I am glad Master Fatburt remembered me in the list. I thought Nath might of noticed the little thing under my username that may give away I am from the north.

As for signtopia I am still interested but I will have to study my cash flow data hard to work out if I can make it.

Also, if the north becomes a chapter again, I may want to throw my hat in to the ring to challange for my old title.

It will be best! Because Yorkshire is the biggest county in England, and we are Northeners, I can deal with one part you another, but still united as a whole, just like we deal with small issues and happenings for like your own area! Works good doesnt it

 

Well I already know where my support for CR here lies.....
