FF-UK Scotland meet - Glasgow - 23rd/24th June 2007

I've been looking at what stuff is coming up and when I am free so I can come back up to Scotland. May is busy, July has CE in it, and after that you have Collectormania Glasgow in Aug (which at the mo clashes with a FF-UK North by NW event, so I may not be able to go).

So how about June - so far that month is completely free.
We have a choice of places - Glasgow or Edinburgh. And which weekend.

So who would be happy to meet up?
And what are your weekend preferences -

My thoughts exactly Tim, you just beat me too it! The 16th/17th in Glasgow would suit me better at the moment!

 

On the afternoon of Sunday 10th June, there is the West End Festival, in Byers Rd, Glasgow, which is a free street event, with funfairs, live acts on two stages, fancy dress parade, LEGAL STREET DRINKING and lots of good family fun.

Folk could meet up that day, cos there will be plenty to do and see, and a sense of occasion to boot.

The fact that my own band, The Amphetameanies, will be playing the big stage at Tennants Cross, has no bearing whatsoever on this recommendation. really, it hasn't. It'd be a good day EVEN IF we were not involved.

Booked a hotel now so Suzi and I are definitely coming
So suggestions for what we want to do on the meet? I'm up for 'owt, and if anyone wants to meet up on the Sat too, please do. Have to show Suzi the cathedral and Necropolis at some point.

Sat would be cool too. We are hoping to arrive around 11am ish. We'll dump the bags in hotel and then free to do stuff
