NYC, NY FFNSW/SWNYC Cultural Exchange Program

As you have probably noticed by now, we have had quite a few Australian visitors coming to see us recently Scream Man Oz has suggested we take the newfound friendship between our groups one step further. I'll just cut and paste what he said on their boards to make it easier...LOL

Scream Man says:

The idea is that every few months, we each send the other Fanforce (Perhaps care of the CR's) a package containing letters, postcards, pictures, small items (Maybe a lemur?) maybe a video, etc. of what's happening over here (and vice versa). I think it'd be pretty cool to get a package for all of us!

What do you think guys? I think it would be fun! Although I don't know if they can get a lemur through customs...LOL

The lemur is FFNSW's mascot. His name is Cassius. he has some relations: Brutus, who lives with jedimasterkieca, Sydney, who lives with Maiden lumpé in texas, and Darth Lemurus who lives with kate.

I think what we're going to do is everyone will have a "partner" on the FFNSW side, so this way everyone will get something and have someone specific to send stuff to.

So, what kinds of stuff should we send? And Mike, I'm not so sure the sewer rats will go over so well...LMAO. Maybe some postcards of New York and also some pictures of ourselves or from meetings. We could take some at the picnic and the Stitch 'n Bitch. Any other ideas?

Learning about other cultures is very interesting. I hope our Aussie friends can put some propaganda from the Jedi Religion in there.

Here's an idea, Scream. Send them a cricket ball! They'll have no idea what that is! (for that matter, you could send one to England, and we wouldn't know what it is! Ashes series, here we come! )
