Any fun day for the North is guaranteed my presence. I'll even bring some non-forum members to come along, just to show we can do activities with the outside world

 

I'd be up for something that didn't involve water

 

The paintball sounds great because me and water don't mix but me and guns loaded with paint YES

 

Gah. And it was my idea for white water rafting too

 

I LOVE paintballing. I mean who could resist the chance to trag our RSA out into the woods and shoot him Rafting ain't a bad idea, I'd prefere Kayaking though.

 

I'm not usually scared of trying adventure sports but white water rafting doesn't appeal to me, plus I not a good swimmer so I don't feel confident in the water.

 

They do provide life jackets and all kinds of safety measures.

But of course, can't force you to do it, so we can do other stuff

 

I never doubted that, but I'd still be scared of falling in


I've never been paintballing before, so if everyone whats to do that then so will I. Just don't let me stop you going rafting

 

We'll make you stand on the side taking photos

 

What, of everyone falling off the raft every few seconds. I don't mind taking pic of that

 

I have a 100% success record of staying on a raft while rafting down the rapids.

And, yes, I have done it before, several times

Of course, this is just an excuse for everyone on the boat with me to try and push me off

This just isn't my type of thing, but it does look fun I'm more of a bendy yoga and tai chi type person.

Hehe next one's a yoga day muahahahaha Ok maybe not lol

The rafting at the Tees Barrage is quite tame, it's a man-made course and the water is only waist height. It's really very safe - I've been twice before.

*if* you did happen to fall out all you do is put your hands by your side a float to a still stretch of water where the rest of your team pull you back into the raft !! (oh, to get you out of the water they do have to dunk you under first to use the buoyancy in the life-jacket )

Ah... only be and Boothy are qualified and I don't even think he's up to date with his qualifications.




TBH I'm up for most things, paintballing especially but due to impending arrival and lack of funds as a result, I'll cry off this now.



I'd love to go paintballing one day though so keep it in mind for next year etc... I should be a bit more solvent this time next year (with luck)

 

I guess you might have talked me into it spike don't want to look like wuss now do I.

White Water rafting Im very much up for it You only Live once ! Yes Its Mild Ive been up and seen it when Teams battle the waves in fun,Lets start putting Names forward for it.

Scuba Diving Yes Terry I am Soooo Out of date with it I would have to start again ( But i would rather stay top side )

A cross country walk and Camp out for a weekend Would be good too ? (Needs more thinking on tho )

Go Swimming ?
