Thanks Miana :) Sorry I was so tired at dinner. I felt like I could hardly keep my eyes open. The day was fun but I sure felt drained.

Cool group pic, Kathy. It looks like it was fun. I wish I could've been there, but alas....I wasn't. ;)

Congratulations to our own kay_dee for winning the costume contest at the 2nd Fan Day at FIDM with her purple Padme costume from AOTC. She won a deluxe special edition unnumbered edition of the book, "Dressing A Galaxy"! :) (Pics courtesy of Britt and Linda):

Also, there apparently was a ceremony where the names of fallen fans including Katie Johnson and our own Chanel had their names put in Aurebesh on the X-wing. Thanks to Shawn Crosby for doing that.

I'm so sorry I missed that ceremony. I must have missed the announcement - I certainly would have paid my respects to Chanel had I known. Given the time frame it looks like the photo was taken, I was probably upstairs putting my book away and taking pictures of the dresses upstairs. Or just eating lunch. Darn :(

FYI - I've uploaded all of my 'good' FIDM exhibit photos to image event at high resolution. Feel free to use them for costume research purposes, or just browse through to get a feel for what it was like to attend the exhibit.
