Fights and Falls for Film Workshop

Hey everyone, if you're in the Twin Cities area (or like to travel) we're holding a 2 day Fights and Falls for Film Workshop at the end of the month. The workshop will be taught by myself and Tom Proctor, a 25 year veteran stunt and fight coordinator.

Here's a quick excerpt from the information page:

Students will be introduced to fight terminology and the different fighting styles. We'll learn performancetechniques for camera, basic punches and kicks, and many other important elements of fight acting. Students will learn how to plan and shoot a fight scene as well as how to drive a story with a fight, all while maintaining character. We will also delve into more advanced skills including body throws, flipping and obstacle falls. To conclude the workshop, students will put together their own fight scene and perform it for the group, followed by a session of constructive analysis.
