    We do not need socks around here, we have had enough. What makes it worse is that they were dirty socks.

    Dobby likes socks.

    Did anyone see the dobby looking beanie baby that I bought for Sam yesteryday?

    Don't yah hate when that those muddy socks cannot be cleaned?

    I imagine the people wearing them did not wash their feet very often. I mean if they were gonna walk in mud, they should of not put on socks to begin with.

    Personally, I think all the star wars chicks are totally babe-alicious. Good looks aren't everything and all the SWNYC chicks have their own good qualities. ;)

    Dobby is a house elf, a character from Harry Potter. He is quite the fun littlw guy. Download the new trailer and you will see him in it. He liked socks and wears a pillow case.

    and, for the same of being thorough, movie dobby:

    [image=http://the-leaky-cauldron.org/images/2002/06/CoSEW8.jpg]

    it's mostly the voice that irks me, and his obvious CGI-ness. [face_plain]

    Okay, silly me, but I thought this was a thread for discussing the content in the new issue of Film Comment. There are other articles besides the one-pager about the line. Kevin Smith's take on the movie was the closest I've seen to a realistic opinion of AOTC--one that expresses slight disappiontment while not living under the illusion that a Star Wars film is anything besides just a Star Wars film. Critics who slammed Episodes I& II for their immaturity just don't get it; that's like criticizing the Marx Brothers for being less-than-highbrow.

    The main article, which deals primarily with the film as the first big blow in the War of the Digital Cinema, is insightful. That said, it is completely blown away by the essay in Cinefex, which details almost every SFX sequence in the movie. I only bought Cinefex after failing to find Film Comment in 3 B&N magazine racks (couldn't go home empty-handed), and I am so very happy I did.

    Okay, would this topic have a longer life if I was able to tie it in with the food court at Times Square?

    Ok, so we have established who Film Comment magazine thinks was the most attractive girl in the NY Line (of course, other ladies on the line need not worry as much, as you could be the hotter than the sun & that wouldn't matter to most worthwhile men if your head was as empty as a pocket), but who was the cross-dressed Darth Maul? Hopefully, no younger-generation fans left the line with confused gender issues.

    Well, I can't comment on the Film Comment comment (hehehe, that was fun) since I wasn't on the line, but I can say this:

    As a guy who apprieciates Intelligent, Beautiful women almost as much as I apprieciate...me ;) , We are indeed the luckiest FanForce going.

    ALL you ladies Rule!!!

    This is why I enjoyed Carnegie Mellon so much... even the "dumb" girls that were cute were still fare more intelligent that your average girl...

    So really... you could pick any of 'em. :)
