    Heck, I betcha some FX shots have gone beyond pre-viz to working on the final shots. Like, they can't exactly shoot the space battles in outer-space, y'know? Might as well start working on those. Some actors might have even had a table read already!

    I think that BigAl is referring to things like planets, vehicles, scenery, backgrounds that will be used in the final film. Of course they cannot have final shots until they shoot something.

    I feel I must comment on the official news... it's surreal and amazing and making me all kinds of giddy! We are officially getting Episode 7! :D It's really gonna happen - even though we all 'knew' it was gonna happen the same way Han knew Leia loved him. This is incredible awesome until it actually happens. It will be a triumphant moment of over 30 years of hope when I am sitting in the theater reading: A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....

    Great to get even a tiniest morsel of confirmation. Sure FX work is being done, no doubt costume fittings and set builds, camera tests etc.

    This news really excites me. Yes, it only confirms what we suspected, but an official announcement just makes it feel real. I wasn't on these boards during the prequels, so I can't wait to see what its like here when we get to the business end of production. Bring It!!!
