JJ did confirm the Falcon on twitter the very same way as this most recent picture.

 

As I said in the Mark Hamill thread, I think JJ is having a bit of fun.

 

it should have been 2 mechanical hands holding the paper.

Looks reminiscent of the post lava state of Anakin's hand.

 

Or it could be a droid's hand. There are a good number of droids in the movies and TCW that had humanoid-type hands. Not to mention that we are likely to be introduced to new droids like we have been introduced to a new x-wing.

If you guys want to look for patterns in stuff, consider that everything that JJ has shown us through this Omaze Charity work has been things that are new to us.

Got this off Daisy Ridley's Twitter Account, I find it Interesting that Daisy Proclaims "BRILLIANT !!!"

 

Brilliant is British slang for good job. Maybe Luke never got a chance to have his hand repaired after Jedi and the fake skin just peeled off? Thatd be kinda cool

but why would she Wright Good Job to that twitter post and picture? I am just trying to see how this might tie into the relevance of the mechanical hand to Episode 7, or is JJ just messing with us?

 

Because it is common for British folks to say "brilliant" in lieu of "awesome" or "good job" as Americans do.

I know this because of Sherlock, what I have seen of Dr Who and Chef Gordon Ramsay. Chef Ramsay would not steer you wrong.

Speaking of Dr. Who... If I didn't feel inclined to watch the last 4 Doctors, would I be OK starting with the Matt Smith ones?

 

And I know it because I'm British. As you say, it means nothing more than 'well done' to the winner. The hand doesn't even come into it; Daisy would know better than to say anything about that...

I was attempting to make light my source of knowledge of the subject lol.

Just a guess, but I'm going to assume it's because raising 5 million dollars is "brilliant" , or a good job.....

Now you are talking about the hand itself, not what Daisy meant by her tweet. The hand is not 3PO's like before his coverings. Photos that clearly show that are easily available on the nets. As for it being some random bot... That is as good a guess as any right now.

 

I just want to say the reason I am not using the quote system is it works on AOL but not Internet Explorer, I am currently on Internet Explorer, it might be my settings? as for it being 3PO's hand I think your guess is as good as mine we wont know until we see the film.....
