the big Green screen snow set could be for the Iceland plate shots, they actually filmed in Iceland, for plate shooting, if you want an idea of what that would look like watch the ice planet scenes in Abrams first Star Trek film he also filmed in Iceland with plate shooting for Star Trek 2009....

That was a really interesting article. Not only the insight into how the UAE is getting more films there, but on how Sci-fi/fantasy is an emerging market there and that a woman seems to be one of the leaders of that.
