My 30 day trial of premeire ran out and I need to convert my filmstrips for my movie. Is there any other programs that can convert them besides premeir. i need to make them avi or wmv files. Thanks.

not yet he aint, do a search on google for a different version of Premiere, e.g. if your version 7 ran out, search for a version 6.5 etc, download, install, use for 30 days. (thats still legal btw).

May the search be with you, always...

Or you could get someone to convert the film into a filmstrip for you.

Maybe the 30 day trial of AE would do it?

Maybe a free version of Adobe Premiere 6.0 will work. I own it (it came bundled with my video capture card) and I don't want it as I now own Premiere 6.5. I tried to give it away last year on this forum with no takers. It's a legit original CD folks. If you want it, PM me. You will however need to mail me a "prepaid postage" padded envelope though. I aint payin' for shipping. :)

If absolutely neccessary, I'll take a pic of the CD and post it here. You know, the whole PPOR thing?

How? I own an original CD of Adobe Premiere 6.0... OWN. I bought it. It came as what they call "bundled software" with a Pinnacle DV500 video capture card. It's as legit and legal as it can be. I did not make a copy of it to keep for myself. I'm giving away for free the original CD and it's key. I thought I made that clear in my above post.

i know i read that part, but i thought you couldnt give away software, i thought the person youre giving it to has to pay, according to law

Nope, once you own it you can give it away freely... just like if you bought it as a Christmas or birthday present for someone else and such.

Of course if you made the one-and-only legal copy for backup purposes you would have to destroy it and you would have make sure that you uninstalled Adobe Premiere 6.0 (unless you legally own two or more copies) from your computer.
