NSWRPF Archive Final Fantasy -Statuo Fatum-

Alright, then. This here is a Final Fantasy RP, of which I have decided due to the announcement of Dissidia Final Fantasy and it being in progress, to make an RP similar to that of Dissidia, which brings in the characters from Different Final Fantasy Worlds into one.

Statuo Fatum is Latin for "To decide Destiny", which is a great name for a Final Fantasy RP. The meaning itself comes into play in this RP, because it is you, the players, and myself, who decide the destiny of this RP.

I. Story

The dimensions, realms, and the walls of reality begun to crumble. Signs of this slowly came into being, but nobody knew of what would eventually happen. The worlds stacked against each other broke down, revealing to each other, combining and destroying one another. The cause of this was unknown. Nobody could hold such great and destructive power, even the summoned creatures combined could not do this much damage. The inocent pedestrians, royalty, armies, kingdoms, they all fell under the collosal might of the reality's tight grip as it became dangerous. The ground became desertland, forests became wasteland, water dried up. The earth of each realm split open to reveal infinite darkness, along with a slight gleam of light far down below. Sorrow filled the air of every world. Friends, relatives, they perished when the abyss of the darkness swallowed them. Nobody knew what became of them, presumed dead ever since that day. The few lived, the worlds crashed, reality crumbled, time broke, space ripped apart, only to reveal that other worlds existed. Within only a few seconds, the worlds of Fantasy joined, or atleast, what was left of them. This was only what was left of them, a world of which should never have been. As each world's greatest Heroes, and their most infamous Villains came to existance once more, they would all discover that this was meant to be, and that each world's existance was only just held together by their crystals... It is now time... Statuo Fatum...




II. Characters & Character Sheet

As I already said before, this RP is initially based, or somewhat closely related to Dissidia Final Fantasy. Which means that you are able to become one of the Final Fantasy World's Hero or Villain. For example, Final Fantasy VII's Cloud and Sephiroth, VIII's Squall or Ultimecia, or IX's Zidane and Kuja. Not only that, but this RP's plotline was for the Heroes and Villains - meaning that other characters are able to be used, for example: X's Auron, VII's Vincent, or VI's Celes. If you know who you are going to be, fill out the character sheet and PM me.

NOTE: My username does not link to my profile, so look at the bottom of my sig. The link to my profile can be found there.

Also, no using any characters that have not officially been announced and/or been released in their game. For example: XIII's Lightning or Versus XIII's Prince.

If you simply prefer to create your own character, that's perfectly fine by me.

III. The World

Due to the fact that the Worlds of each Final Fantasy have somewhat crashed, broken, split apart, some merged together to create a new. Except that they merged with a lone dimension.

Bio: Born of a refugee and her husband at the steps of the Temple of Macalania he was taken in by the monks and taught the ways Yevon. Shortly after his tenth birthday he was felt that he was meant for something a bit more than just a simple monk. One night as his keepers slept he crept into cloister of trials within the temple and headed to the chamber of the fayth. He opened the door and meditated for what felt like hours, he left the chamber some weeks later, no food or water, yet he was unscathed. Before him stood a beautiful woman, blue skin and hair, a single sheaf of fabric donning her. He soon realized that it was Shiva the Aeon that was kept within the temple. She helped him out of the cloister of trials and as he etered the prayer chamber everyone looked in both disgust and awe as they observed him and his escort walk through the doorway. Needless to say he was kicked out of the temple and he wandered the world visiting other temples and gaining Aeons while their monks rested. He eventually realized that he had become a summoner of his own right and with his visit to the ruined city of Zanarkand he discovered the Magus Rod, a weapon that increased his power infinitely, enhancing his already impressive skills, empowering both his dark and white magic skill, and his summoning prowess.

Bio: Star player of the Zanarkand Abes, and a dream warrior drempt by the fayth to be based off, but the opposite of Shuyin. After being reunited with Yuna once more, Tidus was back on Spira. This time, for good. When the world begun to break apart, much blame was thrown at the Al Bhed for their Machina, but he knew otherwise. He was torn apart from his friends once more as a new battle begun.

Bio: An evil fallen knight who is master of magic, and an expert swordsman. Once before he was a puppet of the dark god Chaos as physical embodyment, but no more. After coming to terms about what had just happened to his world, the darkness slowly begun to gather within him. Unknown to him, the past just might repeat himself, and a fight for control over his body and mind was just beginning.

Bio: Kirklan was a paladin scout of the royal gaurd when he was send ahead on a Chocobo on a scouting mission from Sand 'ora to see into the Selbina situation they have been getting reports of pirate attacks on the town and that a fragment of the royal guard was to look into the matter. So as he was only half way through the Plateau an earthquake strikes and he falls into a crevice. Upon blacking out he dreams about Sand 'ora being taken over a dark alliance of extreamely powerful menaces encluding the Shadow Lord, the dream has such a shock on him he immediately wakes up only to see himself alone in the middle of a very unfamiliar place, so as first order for himself is to find out where he is and move on from there.

Alright, we're doing good so far. Sripvalentine needs to post his Sephiroth Character Sheet, so he's no longer available. The other guy has bailed out, due to the fact that he is leaving the forums, so Kuja and Firion are back on the list.

Anyone is free to join at this moment in time, and I guess, at any point in the RP - just remember to PM me. Right now, i'm planning to opening posts, just planning.

Bio:Sephiroth was born approximately 30 years before the start of the game (exact year left unknown) to Professor Hojo and Lucrecia Crescent. Before Sephiroth's birth, Hojo and Lucrecia were working as assistants to Professor Gast, Shin-Ra's top scientist, on the Jenova Project. The project studied the remains of an extra-terrestrial entity known as Jenova, which was mistakenly thought to be one of the Cetra, an ancient people of the world that the game takes place in. Hojo injected cell samples from Jenova into the pregnant Lucrecia. Lucrecia then carried Sephiroth to term, his fetal form merging with the cells of Jenova as it developed.

After his birth, Shin-Ra raised Sephiroth to be a supersoldier, the very first SOLDIER. They told him nothing of his mother except that her name was "Jenova." He was not aware his father was the Shin-Ra scientist 'Hojo' whom he referred to as "inexperienced". He proved to be an incredibly strong and effective member of SOLDIER, gaining worldwide fame for his exploits such as his role in Midgar's victory against Wutai. He was later sent by President Shinra to deal with the newly formed AVALANCHE when they raided Junon, and then went after the group when they "kidnapped" Professor Hojo.

In SOLDIER Sephiroth had two friends, Angeal Hewley and Genesis Rhapsodos. Though all three were rival SOLDIERs First Class, they each saw each other as close. When Genesis and Sepiroth duel in the virtual reality Junon, Sephiroth seems to be the stronger, but it ends inconclusively. Angeal stops the fight before either hurt each other too badly. The small wound Genesis takes does not heal. Sephiroth offers his blood as a transfusion, but is told that his blood is not compatible. Genesis eventually defects from Shin-Ra, making Sephiroth very uneasy about his missions against him. Just before his final mission, Sephiroth hints that he may leave Shin-Ra altogether.

Sephiroth as seen in Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VIIIn the events of Crisis Core and Last Order, taking place four years before the beginning of Final Fantasy VII itself, Sephiroth was ordered to inspect the Mako Reactor outside the town of Nibelheim with a small entourage, consisting of one other member of SOLDIER and a few Shin-Ra MPs. Among this group was SOLDIER 1st Class member Zack and his buddy, a 16-year-old Shin-Ra trooper named Cloud Strife. Nibelheim was Cloud's childhood home, but he avoided showing his face and revealing himself to his childhood friend Tifa Lockhart out of shame over not becoming a full-fledged member of SOLDIER as he had sworn to do several years earlier.

At the reactor, Sephiroth found several pod-like chambers containing monstrous creatures, apparently former humans, possibly mutated by injection with Jenova cells and exposure to Mako. Deeper inside, he found a larger chamber labeled "JENOVA," which contained a very strange feminine-looking creature. Crisis Core shows the true events to the Nibelheim incident, and Genesis plays a large part in Sephiroth's madness. During this time, Genesis tells Sephiroth that he was born from the Jenova Project, which was used to produce a 'monster'. Going in more depth about Jenova, and the Jenova Project, Genesis states more facts, but Sephiroth himself does not understand all of what Genesis tries to tells him.

Deeply disturbed by the fact that the creature had the same name as his "mother" and by the idea that he himself might have been created in an experiment similar to the one that created the monsters in the pods, Sephiroth made his way to the mansion that had been occupied by Shin-Ra researchers and began reading the research note

"Warrior, sheath your weapon." Maxor said brandishing his Magus Rod at the new appearance of the armor clad being. "I mean you no harm, now put that blade away or I will forced to call on aid from my Aeon allies." Maxor said, a powerful aura emanating from both him and the rod in his hand. "I warn you my allies are much more powerful than that blade you wield." he added, dust now swirling around his feet.

Citadel - Crossroads to the Central


The Warrior of Light's place pointed at the blonde haired male, and turned to notice another male, seemingly a summoner of which he presumed due to the energies he was able to feel. The Warrior of Light closed his eyes, but held his blade to Cloud.

"The Darkness, it came once more. I have been called to vanquish the force of which the dark energies are radiating from... This man... I feel the darkness deep inside his soul... though..."

He opened up his eyes, and placed his blade back on his belt.

"...He does not seem to be the cause. The darkness recides within him does not seem to be the thing I am meant to destroy..."

The Warrior of Light turned towards Maxor.

"You... you don't seem to have any form, shape, of the darkness. You are different. You heart is pure, or so I feel."

He folded his arms, and glanced over at Cloud. The Warrior of Light felt a number of dark energies around him, but could not exactly tell where they were to be found. He turned back towards Maxor, but could also see Cloud at the corner of his eye. A puzzled look fell upon his face as he crossed his arms.

As Tidus landed within the middle of both the Paladin, and the dark silver-haired male, he started to wonder what he had gotten himself into. Looking back to the Paladin, and towards the silver-haired man, Tidus arose from his battle stance, Brotherhood still in hand.

"You guys have got to be kiddin' me, about to possibly kill yourself in a place like this?! I don't know what's going on around here, but this entire place seems a little strange for my liking..."

He then thought himself. Could this be the result of a new Sin? No, it can't be, there can't be no new Sin, me and the guys defeated my old man...

Empty Realm - Outside of the Citadel/Edge of Nothingness

Garland held his blade firmly within his claw-like hand. This man before him seemed somewhat dark and mysterious. A possessed-like voice came from Garland.

"I feel... drawn towards you... the darkness within my heart feels... familliar... If you want to fight, then I, Garland, will knock you down!!!"

Within that instant, Garland collapsed to the ground, his demonic armor making a loud thud. On his knee, and just holding onto his blade, held his head. It felt like his head was pounding, but went in a few seconds. Slowly taking away his hand from his head, Garland took a look around where he and this man was.

"Where... where are... we?"

Kirklan stood ready in battle stance when suddenly a blondehaired man jumps in between him and the up rising flames. Kirklan looks past the blonde man to see a silver haired man standing with a ratherly large blade that seems to stun kirklan in awe, so much that he begins to lower one of his swords to kind of tap himself on the head to see if hes dreaming. "Wow that is one large sword. If you dont mind me asking who made it for you silver haired sir? or did you make it yourself." Then kirklan's attention is seen towards the blondehaired mans sword which seemed to be a solidified held together water like form and he looks at his sword and becomes a even more interested. "Well this is an interesting place indeed." Kirland says to himself as he stands ready to possibly defend himself.

Citadel - Crossroads to the Central

When Cloud had first arrived and spotted the man in robes running towards him his first instinct was to draw his weapon, the First Tsurugi, a custom weapon made of several other swords in order to model the Buster Blade. However just as he was ready to pull it out a strange armored man had appeared between him and the other man. He drew his blade pointing it right at Cloud, which caused him to draw his own large blade.

Cloud could hear the other man trying to talk to the armored knight; something about him sheathing his blade otherwise he would fight him. Cloud ignored most of his ranting, if he did not want to fight then he shouldn't have taken out his rod in the first place. It appeared that the knight also agreed with him because he didn't even give him a glance, in fact he had his eyes close as if he were concentrating on something.

"What did you say?" Cloud reply taking a fighting stance with his sword. But when he saw that the knight had placed his blade back on his belt he lowered his sword, but only slightly.

The Knight spoke other words, that he was unable to hear, before he turned around and crossed his arms in what appear to be confusion.

Seeing as there would not be any fighting -yet- Cloud put his sword away walking a few paces forward towards the knight. He stared at him with his intense blue glowing eyes and parted his lips and said.

"Who are you?"

A flash of light suddenly shined until a warrior carrying a very large katana appeared between Vincent and Garland. His sunglasses, as well the high collar of his coat, covered his eyes making his expression unknown to the two men. Auron turned towards the man with the red cloak holding a gun, he stared at him in silence for a few moments before turning around and looking at the other men who was currently on his knees.

He looked at Vincent from the corner of his eye which were still covered by his sunglasses, "I will ask you to put your weapon away"

The blonde male seemed to be up for a fight, yet the Warrior of Light did not want to engage in any violence with another inocent person. He turned towards him, and put his arms by his side and spoke boldly.

"I bare no name. I am a Warrior fighting to protect the Light, to vanquish the Darkness that threatens the World."

The Warrior of Light spoke once more. He had a sudden change of mind for a second.

Your... Darkness has become intertwined with the light... Twilight. perhaps...?"

Within his mind, the Warrior of Light begun to question if something like this could even exist, even in a world where Light and Darkness fight one another. Turning back to them both, he spoke.

"Forgive me. Might I ask what your names are?"

Empty Realm - Outside of the Citadel/Edge of Nothingness

The man behind Vincent was speaking madness, and it was something he really didn't have time to deal with at the moment. His crimson eyes closed for a moment as he put his weapon away. Whatever had caused that man to speak the way he had was gone now, and the Ex-Turk turned on his heel, walking away from the edge of the crevasse. He passed by the armored man, almost as if he seemed to pose no threat to Vincent, and his tattered red cloak flapped in the hollow breeze of the empty space around them. Vincent was determined to find his way out of this place, and he would do it alone.

For a brief second, he clenched the fist that bore his golden gauntlet, and as that instant passed, he relaxed. He had to keep the beasts within him under the strictest control, and even getting into a fight was dangerous enough at this point. The last he remembered, he had encountered the strange girl Shelke the Transparent and the massive hulk Azul the Cerulean. Whoever they were, they were an enemy to him, and for some strange reason, posed a threat to the world.

Citadel - Crossroads to the Central

"Your... Darkness has become intertwined with the light... Twilight. perhaps...?"

Cloud did not comment, instead he become quiet again, this Knight...a Warrior of Light...was he able to sense the darkness inside a person? Cloud looked away with a strange almost downcast gaze.

"Your wrong..." Cloud whispered, "There is no light in me...not anymore, not ever"

"Forgive me. Might I ask what your names are?"

Cloud hesitated for a second, but he quickly snap out of it. This 'Warrior of Light' didn't seem like a bad guy, or at least that's what he had proclaimed, but nonetheless one could never know.

He stared at the knight once again, "...I am Cloud"

Sephiroth walked forward, towards both the blonde man and the other, things were gonna be interesting.
He ignored both of their talking, they were not worthy of an answer.
Standing alof, he was prepared for any of their attacks, yet he did not appear to be ready.
"Surrendur.....and you will perish quickly."He said, almost passionatly.
He swong his blade in a wide girth, to show that he was in no joking mood.

Empty Realm - Outside of the Citadel/Edge of Nothingness


Garland arose, and made his way to the left of the mysterious crimson cloaked man. The slight breeze was calming, and so Garland took a deep breath in, and let it out slowly through his nose. Looking at his blade, he lunged his sword into the ground, and folded his arms.

"Sorry, the darkness takes ahold of me, bind me with it. I am partly devoted the the darkness, and can sometimes get unstable..."

He paused for a moment.

"...I'm Garland... You...?"

Maxor sensed no further threat from the warrior and placed his rod back in a sheath on his back. "I am Maxor Kiros, a Summoner from Spira. Though I feel that Spira is now no more." Maxor said as he looked around him. "I do apologize for my actions but an unsheathed blade, especially that belonging to a stranger makes me uncomfortable." Maxor added. "In my days traveling I met many unsavory blade wielding nemeses. I spent much of my time running rather then allowing them to kill me." he added explaining himself, better they understand his actions then hold them against him.

Citadel - Crossroads to the Central/Road to the Central


"Cloud and Maxor, it would seem that we have become somewhat transported to this place. Maxor, I fear for you that your Spira may be no more... many terrible things happened to my world before I came here, as well... And Cloud, you seem to be from another world, also. I fear that is also lost in the cosmos of nothingness. But yet, the people we have lost, the things we did, we shall not allow it to get to us. Finding and locating the darkness, and for you, a way out, is my, and our objectives... unless you want to stay here, that is."

The Warrior of Light turned away from them both. Turning his head to look down each end of the crossroads, the Warrior of Light tilted his head towards the other two.

"Becoming a team would give us a much larger chance to survive in this place. Others may have been taken here, so I'd imagine we need to be on our guard..."

He raised up his right arm towards one of the Crossroads, of which seemed to be lit with a faint light.

"... Over there... where there is a place with light, darkness always tries to follow. Either you try to survive by yourselves, or tag along with me until our objectives are reached. Your choice."

The Warrior of Light turned back and walked up towards the Road to the Central, alert if anything was to befall himself or any other inocent being.

Tidus was somewhat alarmed when the black-cloaked man came closer. They were about 10 meters away from each other, but even at that distance, they could launch as suprise attack. Getting back into his battle stance, Tidus tilted his head towards the Paladin.

"Hey, I see you like my Brotherhood... your name? I'm Tidus"

He turned his head back to the oncoming silver-haired male.

"I don't you who you are, but seriously, wanting to kill us even when we haven't heard your name? If you kill us, I guess you'll never find your way out of this place. You need help... heck, you are more crazy than Seymour!!"
