Final Fight Question

    One thing that has always raised some major questions in regard to the Maul/Jinn/Kenobi fight in Episode I, was the "force fields" that divided the combattants.

    What is the purpose of multiple locking force fields on that part of Naboo?

    Why do they lock/unlock in that sequence?

    Maybe it's just a visual device to seperate the fighters, but is there anything else to it? I kind of hoped there was an explanation for it, but I've never heard one.

    Those walls, yeah... I think they are made of jello. Just too tasty to get near them.

    These walls were a security device in the palace. It was intended to be used to keep out trespassers.
