So, this new article now has Triclops
be Palpatine's real son, not just alleged?
    Interesting.

Nice to see Ken mentioned in the last article on SPIN. Also the true identities of Kadann and Jedger hehe.

And a certain young boy being referenced as either a Jedi supreme chancellor or a Jedi emperor hahaha.

Now, what did happen to Ken?

Well, not to be a buzzkill but... *Shrug*

The word count was limited on this, and we had to contrast Triclops with the Emperor's other "sons" mentioned constantly throughout the piece. It was economical to use the Glove of Darth Vader's own perspective. The definitiveness of that assertion, if it was ever disputed, remains ambiguous or not.

We'd like to know, too. ;)

    Take care,
    Abel

You should run for office. :p
In all fairness, if canon has Palpatine's parents and siblings be dead-beat (or beat-dead) royals from podunk Naboo, I think it can handle Palpatine's three-eyed idiot savant son and a plucky Jedi grandson.

Confining his failed kid into a forced servitude to the empire also seems very much like Palpatine. If Triclops won't work for him, he'll work for him.

So whether or not Palpatine had Triclops on the sly remains to be seen, eh? Good -- better that way. The fewer who stand in Princess Ederlathh's way for the throne, the better. :p

Tzizvvt: Podunk Naboo?! That's the Emperor's birthplace of which you speak! I'll also point out that one of the things I did appreciate about DP was that the royal nature of House Palpatine makes it likely that they're a cadet branch descending directly from Queen Elsinoré of Grizmallt -- in other words, they're really Core World royalty.

    First white-knighting of a Sith Lord I've ever seen.:p

Naboo the planet is ok, just a shame about the people. ;)

It will be revealed that it is actually he that is behind the Imperial Knights, Jaina had nothing to do with it

Or he could be one of the original twelve students of Luke Skywalker's. It's a pity he wasn't developed more.

White-knighting as in coming to the rescue of? I do that all the time.

Not of Sith Lords, mind you. Only His Imperial Majesty -- what else is a knight to do but serve his monarch and his family?

Wish TCW was as well. After Barriss, I can't forgive Filoni and will never waste my time with Rebels.

Pablo is an un-person to me, but that bit was pretty funny. No more Gary-Stus in SW, please.

I don't like TFU either, but perhaps you don't realize what that means. At least, TFU the Alliance founded by Organa, Mothma and Bel Iblis, thus backing up decades of EU. TCW has something completely different. By just throwing up statements like that in a casual manner, he did not just reject TFU, but a lot more.

No, in TFU, the Alliance was made by some Imperial Gary-Stu douche. ;)

Oh, the Alliance shows up two decades early? Didn't remember seeing any. I do remember seeing a rebel group being funded by the Republic and using bits of the Alliance firebird symbol. Again, what changes are there so far?

Can we REALLY ignore that the officials have explicitely said the "real" roots of the Alliance were shown in TCW? It hasn't just been told once. It's been told, re-told and confirmed. And that makes me want to cry.

You can play with words if you like--I admittedly like to do it too. But once Rebels is over...

...I'll go on with my life. :)
Won't be missing the "roger roger" at least. Thankfully, the Empire vs. Rebels dynamic will be back. We never really got that on the same level as the CW with two movies and an entire tv show. Having Bel Iblis, Mothma and Organa writing something or not, is very low on my priorities list.
