I'm in Glasgow, but I'm still sending this stuff in via specially-trained* pigeon...

*specially-trained to avoid getting caught, killed and fried up as a KFC bargain meal

KFC don't waste time with pigeons - they're too small, and a bugger to catch. They prefer to use the rats that frequent their kitchens.

What is the European obsession with KFC? Last time I was over there, the Colonel had more outposts than Starbucks. Have ye not ever had fried bird before? Europe has been around a lot longer than the USA, you'd think someone woulda said, "Hey, what if we fried those chickens, eh? That'd be right fan!"

I think we need more haggis kiosks over here. But we'd probably deep-fry that, too.

ah, well, you see, while we've had the Golden Arches for decades now, KFC didn't really get any further tha London until the last few years, so the novelty of the Colonel's Secret Recipe © has yet to wear off....
obviously, we were deep-frying chicken for centuries before that, but we didn't have that all-important Secret Recipe ©

I'm slightly ashamed to admit it, but I do quite like KFC
I just can't resist nibbling on succulent white breasts, I suppose :D

Ah, cousin, there are few who can.

And the secret behind the Secret Recipe is nothing more than the basic herbs and spices first picked freshly by Kentucky slaves over 120 years ago. So, silantè. And get the honey barbecue wings, too.

I enjoy a zinger tower too. KFC only recently appeared north of the border, but trust me, we've had deep fried chicken breasts in the chippie since day one.

Oh, and your haggis comment was funny. Deep-fried haggis is very popular.

Oh, yeah, we're good at deep-frying stuff. Coronary Capital of Europe, that's us. Personally, I draw the line at a deep-fried Mars bar, tho'. :)

And I'm not a huge fan of KFC - gimme Pizza Hut any day of the week. Please? :D

Speaking of the Hut, I just got thrown out of my local establishment for being too drunk recently. Any similar stories?

I must say you can't beat the chips'n'cheese from The Fast Food Co. on Union St. after a night out.

Especially the Catty of Fury Murrys

Ah the fond (and somewhat vague and blurry) memories

As far as broadband goes, I still marvel at it.

Beats the stuffing out of my old Hamster powered modem!

Yikes, me too....but choices choices. Ever since I ate at this excellent Indian place not too far from here, I've been craving it since. Yum
