So, who is bringing what to the potluck?
I could provide drinks if nobody else is.
We're doing this the 29th of April, right?
I'm sorry. I'll have to skip this meeting
It sounds like a LOT of fun, but I can't make it. Sundays are pretty much out for me because we go to church. About 1:00 - 5:00 PM I'd be able to do it.
But Saturday's or weeknights (except Monday - softball) would be workable. For next time, that is.
How about May 5th? That's a Saturday. We're doing role playing then.
I think we're going up to Brainerd that weekend (to the in-laws). That's ok. I'm not really a RPG-er or a CCG-er. I love risk-like games, though, and SW Trivial Pursuit. I also have this SW game I haven't even played yet. It came with a VHS video that you play while you're playing the game (and pause and play, etc.) and it helps tell you what to do.
Let me know when the next one is, though. Thanks.
EDIT: I wouldn't mind playing CCG games, I'd have to borrow cards, though.
Oh, and I love SW video games. Too bad they don't have SW Mario Kart. That would be cool. (I think Super Bombad Racing might be similar, but it's not on N64).
EDIT 2: Ok, Brainerd isn't until June sometime. May 5th is a barbeque for the NCAA tournament pool I was in with some folks from church. What time on May 5th? Is there a thread that has the details?
There isn't a thread on it yet because some whose name rhymes with peki (the host) hasn't posted yet.
No one will ever accuse me of being sublte.
Did I hear someone say RPG? I was just curious, are you guys meeting regularly and playing the RPG? If so, which one; The WEG version, or the WoTC version? How often do you meet?
I was just curious because in South Bend we have been meeting bi-weekly for about 2 months playing the new RPG. It has been pretty fun, and I was wondering if anyone else on the boards was playing. I probably should have posted this in a separate thread, but this will have to do for now
We could always meet after church on Sunday. I don't think a concrete time had been set up yet--just afternoonish.
No, Mav, no RPGing yet. Trying to get started.
Wazzzzzzpinator lovezzzz flezhie-botzzz
Oh, man I can post again! Thanks, Tech support!
Sorry to freak you out like that, Mara. I didn't know what was happening. My brother got a program from tech support to delete the right cookies off. I couldn't get to them on my computer.
Thanks for your help also, Bobafemme.
What kindzzz of RPGzzz?
Yay Tech Support!!! Glad you're back, Fenix! Don't worry, you didn't freak me out - I was just frustrated that you were having login/posting problems!
So glad those evil cookies are gone...
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me!
Anyhow... welcome back Fenix and Kursari Gama!
And hello, Waspinator, nice of you to buzz by. We're having our very first role-playing meeting on May 5th. Don't know much about it, as we haven't started yet. If you're interested, I can pass your name on to Master Eki who is running the RPG games.
Back to the original purpose of this thread. I was planning on serving beverages (Coke, Diet Coke, Diet Dr. Pepper--any other preferences let me know), some kind of cookies, and chips and dip or something like that. Maybe something deli-ish instead since I don't cook really well (baking is fine though, oddly).
Bobafemme has volunteered to bring pickles wrapped in roast beef covered in cream cheese (or something like that--its good anyway). She also told me she may bring a Vader cake.
Kowakian Monkey Lizard, I may bring something to your shindig as well! Any requests...?
Detective Mara has just figured out Waspinator's alternate identity... Kursari Gama! I have noticed a correlation between Wasp's posts and Fenix's... and for those of you who don't know yet, Fenix and Kursari Gama and sibs!
So anyhow, hi Waspinator/KG!!
I can bring chips!!!
Hey, is anybody familiar with that '80s song "It's Friday, I'm in Love"?
Sure, I've heard of that song. It's by The Cure. I've also heard of "Where Did Robinson Crusoe Go with Friday on Saturday Night?" by Ian Whitcomb (also by Al Jolson).
I may as well as pitch in to say that I won't be able to make it either.
Ok, thanks Phil! I went through '80s music search engines and *none* of them had it!
I owe ya one.
Yeah, it would be a bit of a drive.
At amazon.com, they have an option to search for a song title.
Bit of a drive? Heck, I don't even have a car. Unless someone wants to pick me up?
Well, I am picking up Jedi_Xandman, but 8 hours is a bit out of the way.
Okay Bria. I'll put you down for chips then.
WAHOO!!!! That was easy enough!!!
Mara-bot izzzz right Wazzzzzzpinator and KurzzzzariGama izzzz one and da zzzame.
Zzzeriouzzzly though, what kindzzz of RPGzzz?
