Lit Finished the Legends Novels

    Crucible was the last I read and I didn't mind that. I can see why many people would dislike it but I thought it put a nice cap on things, gave some closure to the big 3 that was actually hopeful and comforting rather than being misery porn like much of the Del Rey era. Denning is responsible for many of my biggest frustrations with the Legacy era and I honestly wouldn't have thought he had that last novel in him so I'm thankful that he gave the main characters a happy ending. The antagonists were kind of weak but at least they were different! And I enjoyed the Force spirituality ending, I don't think it's out of place in Star Wars at all considering Yoda basically talked like a new age guru. It gave at least a small sense of purpose and coherency to what was, at the time, mostly a random and depressing series of tragedies after disasters after tragedies since the NJO series started.
