Everyone has that problem.


And as far as the map packs go, I think its just those three. I think the maps are going to be released sporadically, and only a few at a time. All of them look awesome though.
Standoff looks hotter than holy hell. Its also very Blood Gulch esque if you haven't noticed. Theres another base opposite it. I would actually say its a lot like a ton of maps in Halo 1. Which is very sweet.

 

I stoked about all of them, but Rat's Nest sounds very intriguing. I guess it is the one that when played on infection was described as "terrifying".

 

What are your best and worst maps to play on? I'm not talking about your favorites, I'm talking about which ones you have the best kill/death spread on.

Anyone play those new maps yet?

I downloaded recently and I am in love with them! Well, I have only played Matchmaking on Rat's Nest and Standoff, but I made some pretty cool gametypes on Forge for Foundry.

So, just any comments on how you guys like the new maps.

 

By the way, have any of you made any cool Star Wars style maps or gametypes? Cause I would love to play them!

Does playing coop on Halo 2 or 3 limit the amount of cutscenes you get to view, or do you still get to see all the cutscenes?

 

As far as I know, no cutscenes are omitted. If they ARE... its the minor ones, like the one of Chief extending the light bridge was taken out of halo 1 co-op... so you wont miss anything.

 

If I recall, several levels were taken out of Halo 2's co-op that were in single player. Not sure bout Halo 3.

 

Uh, what exactly are you talking about.

 

If I remember correctly, there were several levels that you couldn't play with Co-Op in Halo 2.

 

I'm pretty sure all the levels are playable. There are a couple cinematics at the beginning with their own level titles that might not be selectable but that's it.

 

Maybe that's what I'm thinking of.

 

Ok, I beat the game with coop, and why is the MC said to be dead? WTH?

We do the whole ship cutscene where the warthog makes the jump into the ship. Arbiter escapes being crushed by a tank, and Master Chief is almost knocked out by a falling warthog, but he climbs back in and tells Cortana, "We'll make it."

Next, the Arbiter is attending a funeral ceremony, and it's implied that he MC is dead. WTH? He was just sitting in the hangar of the ship with Cortana in the last scene.

 

Chief was aboard a derelict ship that had no way of moving nor communicating with the galaxy. He was literally stranded, and so everyone else assumed he was dead.

 

Only half the ship made it through.... Portal closed off, MC MIA

 

They probably assumed he was killed by the Ring firing, And shouldn't he be dead seeing as he was close to the Halo ring when it fired? (seeing as they have such a long range)

 

I don't think the ring did fire it just blew up, or they were halfway through the portal when it just shut off because of the ring firing.

 

Ah makes sense, i need to start playing campaign again

 

Uh, but Arbiter was aboard the same ship. While the MC was in the hangar, the Arbiter went to the cockpit. Then all of a sudden, Arbiter is with human soldiers at a funeral. WTH

 

The ship was cut in half when the portal collapsed. Arbiter went through, MC didn't

 

It puzzled me how he got from end of the ship to the other so fast

 

So why wasn't that shown?

I looked it up in Wikipedia and it says there that the MC tells Cortana to wake him when he's needed. I saw none of this.

 

Beat the game on legendary and watch after the credits.
