ST Finn, Snoke and Luke poll

Thought it might be interesting to have a poll for 3 of the most discussed TFA topics

Is Finn Force sensitive or not Force sensitive?
Is Snoke Plagueis or not Plagueis?
Is Luke Alive or Dead?

Will be interesting to compare results around Christmas time
Hope all possible choices are there

 

Finn is not force sensitive: he is just a guy using a lightsaber, like Han in TESB

Snoke is not Plagueis: because Plagueis is mentioned in the prequels, and everybody hate the prequels.

Luke IS alive: oh come on!

 

Going with Finn is FS, Snoke is not DP and Luke is alive.

 

I figured one of these would pop up eventually. Rather than confine people to these three topics, I was hoping for something broader and without the poll. I actually meant to post a"TFA Predictions" thread on Thursday (4 weeks before release).

 

I voted:
Finn is force sensitive
Snoke is Plagueis
Luke is alive

But I'm less sure about Luke.

I was going to vote for Finn NOT, IS Plagueis and DEAD Luke, as that would be I assume the least likely option. I think we will get a Luke v Knights of Ren showdown at the end though, so. Think they will end with a massive crowd pleaser, not just have a Rey and Luke meet and greet. People need hope if Han is lost

 

Out of curiosity, why do you believe the least likely option is going to happen?

 

I mean the first 2 I think is the minority opinion, but that's my prediction, so I thought, may as well make the 3rd choice the least likely too for a clean sweep, but I think we have end showdown so stick to my predictions for all 3 not just first 2

 

Snoke is not Plageius although I love that theory.
Like is indeed alive and will show up at the end of the movie.
Not sure about Finn...it could go either way.

I went with:

Finn is not Force sensitive. Though I am right around 50/50 on that, and wouldn't be surprised or mind if it goes the other way.

Snoke is not Plagueis. I dunno, just think he'll be more original.

Luke is alive. 'Cause, of course he is.

 

Finn is not only Force sensitive it is the reason he was recruited into the First Order.

Snoke is not Plagueis, but his home world will be Moraband.

Luke is alive.

 

I went with the first one. I'm pretty sure Finn is force sensitive, I'm pretty sure Snoke isn't Darth Plague is the wise and I'm 100% sure Luke is alive.

 

Yaaay smart people.

 

I expect Finn is Force-sensitive, but with his service to the FO (one might think they'd test for such things) and recent canonical evidence of non-FS people wielding lightsabers (no spoilers, but check out the comics), I can understand some leaving open the possibility that he may not be.

I would have liked the Big Bad of the ST to have been Plagueis. I think it would have stitched things together nicely. But I don't expect it. If Snoke is Plagueis, I'll consider myself happily surprised.

Is Luke alive? He'd damned-well better be.

And frankly, I'd very, very much prefer Luke make it out of Episode 9 alive and well, too. Oh, and with a nice lightsaber duel (or two?) sandwiched somewhere in-between.

 

I went with Finn is Force Sensitive, Snoke is not Plagueis (though count me as those who think that would have been cool, I just don't think it's the case) and Luke is alive.
I just don't think dead Luke is something they would do right off the bat.

 

This poll shows that the Plagueis theorists are a pretty small minority here. Wouldn't know it based on how often the topic comes up!

 

I have a few Snoke theories, Plagueis is my no1 theory and that is why I gone with it.
Main reasons are
1. The Force Awakens is looking like it will be heavily inspired by the original trilogy, almost a 2.0 reboot. I don't see the logic in having so much being like the original and then having a completely random new villain who is unconnected to the saga whatsoever.
2. They haven't shown Snoke. He is a secret. Why? There is no need for secrecy if it's a character we know nothing about. If it's Plagueis there is every need for secrecy.
3. The "snoek" is a long thin species of snake mackerel. Greek name Thyrsites Atun. Thyrsites, Thyrsus, staff. Is that just chance, coincidence, luck?

I don't understand...why is Luke being dead an option when he's clearly in the film? Is the choice a prediction of what will happen to him in the movie, or is it that Luke is already dead?
