    FIREBALL

I made this off of my fire tutorial using fractal noise, invert and accented edges making this fire movie.

    oh wow, that's nice!

Just remember to put fire trails behind it. The faster it moves, the larger and more intense the flame should be (oxygen feeding it).

    It kind of looks... inverted.

Like the darkness is overtaking the fire, not the fire is overtaking the darkness.
    Does that make sense?

You may want to look into it.

    It's good though.
    "Impressive... most impressive."

I see where VaporTrail is going. Try brightening the area around the fireball. That might give just a little more realism. Other than that, it looks excellant.

Your saying that it should cast light or it should have a glow?

Cast a light. And I don't mean you need lens flares, you can just brighten up the area behind the fire a little bit. It'll make it more realistic because it would brighten a little of the background.

Maybe put some embers (spell check) behind it too. It could make the fire more real looking.

Add some more movement and some Particle Playground effects to this, and this could be very, very cool.

Nice, very nice. But 1 thing bothered me. The outside of the fire, it looks like there are a load of coals and a hole is appearing in it. just my view.
