Abq Fires in San Diego

I've been watching the news as much as I can to get an update on the fires. Many in our Sister Chapter are evacuated and homeless.

Having watched the Los Alamos fires and had many of my friends lose all they owned, my heart goes out to all those that are having to deal with this difficult situation.

Unfortunately, there's not much we can do at this time to help, however, we might want to do something like donate to the SD Red Cross etc. to show our support.

Let me know if you think of anything that might be appropriate...

I think that is a good idea... or maybe something more directly... I will see what I can find out. thanks for the update Wook.

 

So far they are all safe. Only one member has lost property-Branden, he is there Darth Vader. He lost his entire star wars collection though. I was thinking maybe we can raise some money for gift certificates for him-for places such as Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Sears or something. I don't know him that well but it might be good to get it for places he cccan buy stuff. But once I get a firm go ahead I will let you all know.

Center will be closed today.

* Box orders will be delayed 2-3 days.

NP-I hate saying this but I had no idea that it was going on-I haven't turned on in a few days... man I am out of the loop.

But keep your eyes out-from the sounds of it it may hit LA county as well..
