Wonderful incite into Mara's frame of mind at that time!

Palpatine had touched her soul violently, crushing her very being and molding it to his image, but she had survived it and healed herself from his touch. The scars were still there, but she could live with the scars.

Luke had scars too, she could see them clearly, the physical ones and the ones in his own soul. She could even see the ones she had caused with her stubborn refusal to stay. She would make it up to him, now, she promised silently.

This part was especially powerful! I enjoyed the look at both of them having their own baggage, their own scars and how they could both overcome them!

Great job, Hazel! I look forward to more!

Aww, a very fine set of viggies you've written here! Being a sucker for the home-from-Nirauan-trip I particulrly enjoyed the first one - but that doesn't make the other two lesser. I loved how you brough in the Plooma story into the second and "Master" into the third one! Very fitting too that Mara would want to keep with Anakin's lightsaber - as was the subject on the EU Community Mara topic.

Great work! If you keep a PM, please put me onto it - I'm such an idiot to read nowadays that it seems to be the only way I get it done!

I loved the reference to Luke's wedding gift and am happy they could have this super getaway from the pre-wedding fuss.

I think, if I had to choose, this one's my fave.

 

That was yummy. A great depiction of how Mara finished her training but still kept Anakin`s blade.
