i'll see what i can do about catchers equipment.

 

I have a RH glove and wooden bat.

 

I have my glove and possibly a couple of other gloves that could be used, I think they are all right handed, as in I am righthanded and thus wear a glove on my left hand, though I'm sure you all realized that, I'm really explaining this for myself, so that when I read this later on I'll know what I was talking about, though not why I typed it, that would be weird, like horse-toast

I also have a bat and some softballs

 

i might try to stop by for a bit on the day and say hullo given that i haven't seen most of you guys in a very very long time. Its not too far from where i'm living now!

yeah, we should get something going. It might rain on Friday, so the fields may be too wet to play on on Saturday - but if it's not too bad, would you guys be up for a practice on Saturday at 2pm at Hendon Park?

I'm in London for the weekend so that won't work too well for me.

 

I need the practice but I will be at a wedding.

 

Since noone's able to make it, the practice will be postponed.

How's next weekend? (Weather permitting). It would probably only be an hour or two.

get it? count? like a vampire? you know, they talk with accents and suck blood. Also, my witty pun where it seems like I want to play badly, but then I twist it around to be like the vampire, I'm ever so clever, and will be playing softball

 

Greg, you aren't suppose to scare people away from the team. You should be encouraging them to join.

But clearly, our skills are so superior to all others that we can, if necessary (and seemingly likely) play all 9 positions and still win. Yes, we are that good. But it would be more fun if there were more people.

I'm not going to start a new thread about another attempt at a practice, but I will say it here - a few of us will probably be playing on Sunday. So if you can make it to Heddon, reply here or PM me and we can work out the details.

 

Unfortunately it looks like I may have to pass on the tournament but I will have to see as things get closer to the date.

As for practice what time do you plan to have it? I have to be somewhere from 2-4pm.

I can make it on Sunday. Sorry I havn't been able to be to active on the boards as of late. Have had my workload

 

I'll be in again this weekend so I won't be able to make it. Generally, during the week is better for me.

 

We'll be heading over to Hendon Park at about 5pm on Sunday (weather permitting). Hopefully, that will work for you guys. I'll post to confirm that we will be there.

 

Interesting. Depending on ride availability I might swing by and say hi to you folk. Haven't seen many of you for a while, others I still haven't met.

 

Grm. How do I get there via ttc? And anyone have a bat/glove that I can use?
