Abq First Annual FanForce Summer Games

I just wanted to let everyone know about this. They are working on planning this event to be most likely in NYC so if anyone is interested...

Here is an Idea we are working on:

This June or July fanforces enter into a 3 weekend Competition. The Games we have come up with are Bowling, Laser Tag and a Board game tourney. There will be prizes awarded including one for the ultimate fanforcer (The individual with the most points throughout the games) And the winning FanForce. We will be discussing this possibility at the next meeting to see if it is possible to pull off, I think it is.

Here are a few basics that will need to be done in order to make it worthwhile:
At least 4 Fanforces must enter
Each fanforce should have a minimum number of participants willing to go plus a back up in case someone needs to not go at the last second. Number to be determined. Each fanforce must pay a set amount in advance for their participation (this will cover the cost of bowling laser tag rental space for the games tourney plus a closing ceremony awards dinner/cantina party. We will need at least one rep from each Fanforce entered to be on the planning committee to make sure they coordinate in their group. They don't have to attend the games but it would be nice.

i like the idea of laser tag, maybe even a JO or XWA tourny.
