I like it, but I don't. It's cool, but not Star Wars!

I'm happy it's not Star Wars (though there's a slim chance it could be from KOTOR).

There's a lot more to Lucasarts than just the SW franchise.

So, I wonder if Indiana Jones is heading to the Far East this time around? [face_mischief]

    EDIT: LOL Indy3... :D

Yes, but it is it's main franchise. Heck, go to Lucasarts and click on products. How many Monkey and Islands and Indianas do you see? Hardly none.

    EDIT: Sorry, it's not Lucasass!

Um, Blimp, I take it you've just heard about/started buying LEC games in the last couple of years, right?

The most critically acclaimed LEC games were NOT Star Wars. The older LEC games like "Sam and Max Hit the Road", "Full Throttle", "Monkey Island", "Grim Fandango", "The Dig", and "Day of the Tentacle" were some of the funniest and the most original LEC games to date.

    They were also DARN funny.

It's like the people who think Zahn wrote the first EU novels.

    Exactly.

That's why we're all happy there's some non- Star Wars stuff in the pipeline.

There was a time when a lot of Star Wars games were coming out, some of which weren't up to Lucasarts usual high standards. It was like LEC wanted a Star Wars game in every possible gaming genre, even if it didn't really make a lot of sense. Even during these dark-times (which ended a year or two back) the non-Star Wars games always held up.

They have been one of Lucasarts main strengths over the years. And now with Lucasarts going out of house to employ the best engines & the best developers for most projects, the future bodes well...

You can see the Republic symbol on the right one...it's probably an EP2 game. Could it be another Demolition type game?
