First Game of 2003

Well, I've already played two games this year (heh, and its only about 3am here).

First game- my first evar AoM multiplayer game with Dan and Rebecca. Thought it was alot of fun.

Second- quick JO game with Homer and Wedge. Got pwned. Still fun.


So, what's the first game you've played this year?

Mine was AoM with you and Becca. Lots of fun! We should try it again sometime, especially if DUM's on and Simpson gets it.

 

None yet. I've been online most of the night. Pay no attention to the "away" status.

 

Jedi Outcast

It was a game with weapons where they disabled force seeing, but not mind trick

Haven't played anything yet. I doubt I will today.

 

I played some Jedi Outcast on X-box this morning before coming to work. Got my poor Rodian killed many times(even fell off the dang Bespin board in Duel.)lol

I actually have a life off the internet and have been on a mass ROAD TRIP! This is the first time I've been online in like a week.

That'd be fun. I have now learned to use the Norse somewhat effectively. Can't use Eygptians though, tried, didn't turn out too well.

 

I haven't reached the Norse in SP yet, and my attempt with them last night was fairly pitiful. Their entire concept of gaining favor revolves around combat, and since I'm not a big on rushes, it doesn't work out well with me at all. They also sem to have a lot more micromanagement - for example, certain units for gold, some for food/wood, and then military units build stuff. But then the entire oxcart thing is a very cool idea and adds some versatility to them.

The Egyptians seem to be the simplest race, especially with only one military building to worry about and favor coming in on its own through monuments. The Greeks seem pretty well rounded, with some good heros and a broad range of units. I think when it's all said and done and I understand the game more, I'll be playing with the Greeks.

 

Well, I was playing Neverwinter Nights when 2003 arrived, so obviously it's the first game I've played this year.

 

GTA:VC. Nothing like starting the new year with the 3rd greatest game.

 

NHL2K3 for Xbox: I felt like starting the year off with the BEST. HOCKEY GAME. EVER.
