Evan, IN *First meeting*

We have some interest now in having the first meeting at Barnes & Noble on the east side of Evansville

I'm suggesting 12:00 Noon Saturday
Another good time for me is 5:30.

We will meet upstairs by the Star Wars section. There are chairs and tables there.

Post if you can be there and any other suggestions.

 

12:00 is fine with me. I look forward to meeting more Star Wars fans in Evansville.

 

My wife and I can be there at noon as well. If we all show up we will have our first official meeting LETS DO IT!!!

 

Then that is at least 3 people.

I'll be there, and I have a couple of friends who don't post on this board, but are interested in starting a local club. I'll try to entice them to come along.

 

I've got an idea on how we're to recognize each other: everyone who attended C2, wear their C2 badges. That should allow everyone interested to identify us.

 

Sounds good i'll be wearing mine and my C2 shirt. Can't wait for this to happen TC517 and I have been trying to get one of these together since before the dvd came out

 

I'm trying to get a few of my friends to come too. I will have my badge and a Star Wars shirt on.

 

I might try to come by for a little bit. It's somewhat anticlimactic now, though, since I'll be moving to Atlanta in about two months.

10 people had stopped by.

Advertizing-It was decided that showplace has a policy against flyers and Karasotes is still a bit in question. That won't stop us. Everyone interested should send TC517 their version of a flyer to be cut/combined and made into a final version. Rick said he could copy them. Charlie also has access to a copy machine for advertizing in Jasper. Susan has a friend who is an artist and will get with her. She was given the contact info to pass along.

Upcoming events-A tenative plan for the next meeting would be June first at Barnes and Noble, 12:00.
