Can I have 5? I've got a Princess Leia fic that has a picture to inspire me, but I need a first sentence to help me kick this thing off.

Using URL as opposed to LINK is guaranteed to work on all platforms, all the time. LINK does not work on some mobile clients. Just thought I'd add that.

After many months stuck in development hell, worrying about reader response, I get 391 words done just now.

I'll just get it down, and worry at the edit stage

I can add more sentences, but before I do so let me check if anyone who picked a sentence and didn't write a story for it wants to give it up.

If you aren't, no hard feelings—I'll simply make your number available again in case someone else would like to take it. Of course, there is still no deadline for the challenge itself (and I'm among the people who haven't written their story yet, but the idea has been brewing in the back of my mind for THREE years!)

Guys, let's wait until we know how many sentences are up for grabs before anyone starts claiming them There will be plenty for everyone, but it would be nice for those of us who haven't written a story for this challenge yet to get to pick first.

 

I completely forgot about this challenge and it somehow didn't make it to my list of pending challenges. I'd like to keep mine for now as I really like it. And now that it's on my list, I'll hopefully remember to ponder on it!
