    I'm currently working on a teaser for my upcoming film and I had a few questions that I think you guys here could answer. The theme of the first bit of the trailer is going to be 'Firsts in Comics', but for a couple of firsts I was planning to put in I don't know. Could you guys help me out? They are:

    1. First Film Adaptation of a Comic Book (leave animated features out for right now. Was it the Batman serials? I'm not sure).

    2. First Comic to Win a Major Award (I'm not talking about a Will Eisner or a Harvey- I mean like a Hugo or a Nebula or something like that, and I know a select few have gotten those over the years)

    1. The 1941 serial Adventures of Captain Marvel preceded other serials featuring Batman, Captain America and Superman.

    2. The graphic novel Maus won a Pulitzer Prize. I don't think it gets bigger than that.

    Watchmen won a Hugo in the late 80s, before Maus won the Pulitzer.
