It's the opposite for me.
Once you get the label of knowing anything at all about tech, you are the IT manager, it just happens naturally.
We actually have an IT department at our office, and yet half the time other lawyers are asking me to fix their computer. And I have no admin privileges so I can't do jack.
Lol, reminds me of my neighbors. My neighbors always come to me expecting stuff to get fixed for free. I also always seem to become the help desk support on forums. Thankfully that hasn't happened here yet. <<;
Seerow, my phone broke. Please send me a new phone for free + take pictures of the one you're going to send.
GG my continuity broke. Please send me a new TCW chronology.
I'll have a full pristine Clone Wars timeline ready to go by 2080.
Man, I'm starting to feel that tingle of drainage in my throat. Think I'm getting sick. x.x;
Sure, what's your cellphone number? I'll sell you some stuff. =b

Oh. Looks like your phone encountered an error when it activated. I'm so sorry to hear that
(Because devices that don't activate properly end up with 911 area codes.)
It's Lenovo and not too fancy but gets the job done.
Lenovo and Dell Prrecision/Latitude are the most reliable laptops I've worked with. It's usually those fancy gaming laptops that always have problems.
-fist bumps- Actually that's my favorite brand. Well done Swash! Even the Essential series from Lenovo is well built compared to the competition and still has the DNA for best keyboard on the market. I don't really care all that much about specs anymore. If your gonna be gaming or doing serious number crunching then we can talk about specs. Any computer out there can get ya on the web or do school work. My biggest gripe is how crappy the screens in just about every laptop currently made are.
A good RGBLED IPS on a laptop could easily cost $400+. They aren't that expensive to manufacture...
They are beautiful. Those Dreamcolor Displays on the HP Elitebooks, WOW! My gripe is all the cheap damn 720p displays that dominate the market. That's setting aside my old gripe about the switch to 16:9 ratio screens in notebooks. You'll never get a bigger rant from me than if you get me started on that. They took away my precious vertical resolution and sweat spot WSXGA+ screens. ;.;
Anyone else see these back in '08? http://starwarsblog.starwars.com/index.php/2008/06/04/new-star-wars-disney-figures-coming-this-fall/
I wouldn't be surprised if they reintroduced them given the recent acquisition.
I have seen figures that look at that at Disney
@KenobiSkywalker. They are sold near Star Tours in MGM Studios (Which I'll never get used to calling Hollywood Studios) and there is also a shop in Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom that sells SW merchandise like that.
I'm like in the biggest fog right now. I'm stuck at work with this fever again and I think the world is spinning right now. x.x;
Cat Insurance?! What the?!
I hope that isn't a real commercial.
lol. I like cats... -random-
That is the second funniest thing I have seen today. I hope it's real, it's simply amazing!
What was the funniest? (Hondo?)
Right, Hondo. Make that cat thing third, then. No, the funniest was this comment I saw on a YouTube video for a song. The comment's not board-friendly so I won't say it outside of PM, but it had me cracking up. Suffice to say, it was so outrageously random that it had me in stitches.
Funniest thing that happened to me today had to be getting cussed out by some woman who called and claimed the phone she bought for her son came preloaded with porn. e.e;
Mom: What is this filth!?
Son: How should I know? It was a pre-installed program!
