1. A Message For Everyone:

TCW vs. Rebels debates are not allowed in the Television forum. As in, discussions that descend into TCW/Rebels bashing/gushing will be subject to Mod action. Contrasting the themes, story lines, characters, etc. between the shows is allowed (welcomed, even). "Versus" debates/arguments, however, are a deal-breaker.

One of my favorites is at the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay, WI. they've got a Union Pacific Big Boy in very good condition.

@SenatorKelberry, That's awesome and does look to be in great condition. Some of my favorite locomotives are the giants like the Bigboys and C&O Alleganies. I've never seen either up close. The largest I've seen in person is N&W Class A #1218. The last time I went on a train trip was to MN chasing Milwaukee Road 261.

There's a guy that lives down the road from me that turned the inside of his house into a model train track/city. [face_hypnotized]

I have some Lionel trains but they actually test my patience in trying to set them up just for the holidays so, I don't have one of those.

My grandparents had one of those when I was much younger. I remember getting carried away with the speed and launching it through a window. [face_laugh]

That's what happens when you let a 3 year old play in an all glass room. :p

Hah; I get asked to do a lot but fortunately we also have a tech facilitator at work so she gets asked just as often as I do. And we divvy up between what I know how to do and what she knows how to do.

I'm not sure how anyone is supposed to compare phones using picture; I have to handle the phone and see what it does. I love my iPhone 4S, I haven't bothered with a 5, I don't mess with new technology the first few months it's out anyway.

Cats: this video is silly as hell but it cracks me up every time:

My grandfather worked on the railroad for over forty years.
I grew up next to 3 tracks... used to get regular beatings for hopping the slow movers.
(Doesn't mean they were slow, just not full speed.) ;)

The rush far outweighed the ass thrashings.
    :p

    Show Spoiler
(Nothing better than watching an old bike get mangled underneath one of those metal behemoths, except maybe fireworks off a bridge into freeway traffic, or playing with gasoline when my fireman father was watching unbeknownst to me... but those are stories for a different day)

Well, my plans for my day off are lame tomorrow. Gonna buy a few of the SW books people tell me to read. 1 for kindle, the other two apparently not so much and I'm going to try and self repair my old Galaxy S II. I bought a screen for it.

I placed a bid on a lot of TCW ornaments that includes a Rex figure about an hour ago. Hopefully I'll win. :D
