Aw, you no like Legacy, Tarados?
It's OK, but I prefer DOTJ and I don't need my comic budget to be huge
A lot of the stuff that I dropped wasn't necessarily because I didn't like them, it was just because I didn't like them as much and had to choose. I was enjoying Aquaman, but he kind of got pushed to the side and forgotten about. I'll probably go back to him when I'm caught up with Superman There's not much of DOTJ before I'm caught up with that either, so I might revisit Legacy after.
Fair enough. Legacy is great, and has some of the best art in any SW series.
Actually, this talk about comics reminds me to get the latest issue of The Walking Dead.
Good. How I dislike Swift. She's such an attention *****.
Legacy was awesome. It's major problem was that it had wayyyyyyyyyy too many characters and too many plots. Which is either good or bad, depending on how you look at it...
To clarify, I didn't get far into Legacy. It's not like I read most of it and didn't like it. I'm only to issue 4, I think (the one with the Stormtroopers loyal to Krayt and the Quarren Sith that pushes them). Similarly I only got 5 issues into DOTJ. But there are fewer of the latter, and thus far I enjoyed it more. Once I'm caught up with DOTJ I'll probably move onto another SW comic, and probably Legacy, since I've already started it.
This guy looks kinda brutal. o.o;
And War was sooooo compressed, it's criminal.
@Barriss_Coffee Too much of a good thing, is never a bad thing...
Well then perhaps Darkhorse has standards.
The picture below is from Wonder Woman (the New 52 reboot) and it is precisely why IGN lost credibility with me, because it was getting glowing reviews for the story (which I also thought wasn't at all interesting). But also receiving high praise for the art... I remember people back in high school bored in class scribbling more impressive things in their notebooks. I hear it's incredibly difficult to make a leaving as an artist, but when I see something like this, it gives me hope
I can't help but laugh every time I see that second image, since Bantha is blocking blaster shots with his gut.
I'm guessing that the blast seeming hitting his stomach and the other striking the girl's ankle are actually traveling away from them
That his swing started on the right of the image, deflected those two, before his swing finishes where depicted. I actually prefer that kind of representation vs. when artists draw each each stage of the swing and then superimpose them on top of each other.
^That dude has an uncanny resemblance to Scar! What at think
Got into the University of Melbourne
To me... it is just in many cases repeating stories from the past and it is less of a mess than, lets say, the post-Endor set of Books that are really convoluted and messy!
Congratulations, Jack! May the Force be with you during your studies...
Congrats to you Jack!
Cheers guys - I'll be majoring in International Studies and minoring in Japanese which should be awesome.
So I put up this Wonka meme at school because freshmen are vandalizing like the ****** they are. (Garth edit for language)
