Careful with the language, RG4. Remember, the JCF is supposed to be family friendly.
I prefer to have DVD's anyway, that way you know it's the best quality and it will always be there, plus I prefer to watch things on a bigger screen
I watched The Hobbit last night and thought it was better than any of the LOTR movies. It's just better paced, and at most could use about 10 minutes of cutting, instead of the 45 minutes of cutting each LOTR movie could use. The terribly dull walking that bogged down LOTR was minimized, and when they are walking, it turns into something fun quickly. The quest isn't quite as grand, but the journey itself is more entertaining and full of the fantastical creatures that make up Middle Earth. The incredible lameness of the Hobbits from LOTR is non-existent.
Yeah, instead we get incredible lameness from half the dwarves. Still, I really liked AUJ. Martin Freeman owns the Bilbo role so well, and the dwarves that do get development are great, like Balin, Kili, Bofur, and of course Thorin. PJ definitely captured the light-heartedness of the book, compared to how dark LOTR is.
I still haven't seen The Hobbit in spite of having the intention since before it hit the theater. Looks like one for either this weekend or my upcoming break.
I'm just going to wait for the Extended versions on Blu-Ray and watch them. The third part doesn't come out until December 2014 anyway.
I've read the book so it's not as if I'm going to be hit with spoilers.
Martin Freeman was brilliant. He's a much more likable character than Frodo. I also heard Legolas was returning in the second Hobbit film... Things are going to be interesting.
Inspecting mirrors is something I could seriously see myself doing.
Isn’t it adorable that’s a gosling, which is a baby goose, not the dude named Ryan.
But, really, see these fluffy little puffballs?
Aren’t they cute?
They’re really adorable up until the point when you realize they’re the SPAWN OF SATAN
LOOK AT IT ALL GROWN UP
IT HAS TEETH
THAT’S RIGHT, TEETH
TEETH ON THEIR MOTHER****ING TONGUE
THIS THING WILL **** YOU UP
THERE IS NO POINT IN RUNNING
THERE IS NO GOD DO YOU UNDERSTAND
Holy ****, those mouths. I'm going to have nightmares now. And I like geese.
I was waiting for Coric to shotgun those goslings.
Don't worry about the adults, I'll sneak up behind them and snap their skinny necks.
NOT UNLESS THEY SNAP YOURS FIRST.
reminds me of ...
That's either hilarious, hot or creepy. Can't decide which.
I find this pretty funny, look at how casual everyone is looking, especially Darth Sidious with his hand in his pocket, lol.
And somehow Jar Jar still looks less realistic than the skeleton robot. Where is that picture from?
It was posted in the ST boards, and it's on Google. Apparently it's several photos merged together into one.
I swear I saw that image circa 2005.
Looks like it. There is no way in hell that they managed to get all of those actors (especially Loyd) together for a group photo like that.
Samuel Jackson's a real G.
Yoda looks seriously PO'ed.
I wouldn't think sitting on a pole like Yoda is would be at all comfortable...
