1. A Message For Everyone:

TCW vs. Rebels debates are not allowed in the Television forum. As in, discussions that descend into TCW/Rebels bashing/gushing will be subject to Mod action. Contrasting the themes, story lines, characters, etc. between the shows is allowed (welcomed, even). "Versus" debates/arguments, however, are a deal-breaker.

I wonder if Rex would have won if the save TCW petition didn't tell everyone to go vote for Ahsoka? [face_thinking]

DC area actually. Alexandria, VA. The rest of the call want like,

"My iPhone won't connect to the wifi everything else is working. It started asking me for the wifi key and when I hit join it says 'unable to connect.'. I tried clearing my cachA."
"Do you know what the key is?"
"Yeah I know it, its 8888."
"Okay, I'm sorry but that sounds like the code to unlock your iphones' Screen."
    "That's what I always use."'
    "Who provides you home internet?"
    "AT&T."
'Okay, perfect. Lets go look at your wireless gateway. .There should be a number on it in brackets that is the one the iPhone is asking for right now"
"Oh that one. I had to change that a few days ago. I gave that code to my neighbor to borrow but don't think he stopped using it. Is that why it stopped working? You think that is also why wifi sync with iTunes stopped working?"

@Seerow: Ouch. Now I remember why I'm glad to do second level support.

    EDIT
[rant on]Talking about 'ouch': I had another date at the hospital today, and I guess it's official now. After five years of recurring 'ouch' phases, three MRIs, several EEGs, CAT scans and some X-raying, after two dentists, one oral surgeon, two GPs, three neurologists, five ENT doctors, one orthopedic specialist, one sport medicine specialist, one naturopath, tests with tons of ibuprofen, opioids, triptane, muscle relaxants, neuroleptics, depot shots and pills against epilepsy it looks like I suffer from ... nothing at all.

Nothing wrong with me, they say. Just those recurring bouts of wracking headaches and facial cramps. Might be Cluster headaches, they say. Rather uncommon in females, they say. There's no way to diagnose this except by symptoms, and there nothing that can be done about it, anyway, they say. Stupid hypothalamus, they say. Does funny things.
The only medication that helps me against the pain/attacks - well, had five years to test this after all - is metamizole. That's unsusual, they say, but you should be glad there is a med that works for you. So I guess I won't be going anywhere without my pint of metamizole. [/rant off]

I've just been told I'm going to hell for having LGBT characters in my books. Well, whatever, as long as Hell has a Starbucks, a public library, free wi-fi, and a Panda Express, I'll be happy.

I was talking to a potential literary agent and I was describing the diversity of my cast and this random woman appeared by my side at the coffee shop. It was bizarre, sad, pathetic, and hilarious at the same time.

Yeah, that's just sad. As for Hell, I like to think it's pretty much what you see in South Park- just a place everyone goes when they die, and only the really bad people suffer. Unless you're Mormon, the only ones who go to Heaven.

My response would have been, "So, this 'hell' of which you speak--you won't be there, right? Sounds like a happening place."

    My last customer.

"I've tried to enter my credit card into the iPad 20 times for 6 hours and it won't take it."
"I've used my PO box with my iPad for 10 years."
"My credit card can't be declined. I drive a Porsche Cayanne Turbo and my credit card has an $80,000 limited. I just bought two new iPads and a 75 inch TV on it."
"I travel around all the time and change my address every day"
"I never said I have a PO box. My billing address is Coldwater Michigan."
"The name on my card is different."
"I'm at the Chesterfield Palm Beach today."
"My new iPads are Verizon ones because I never get any help from you guys."
"I don't care that you can't see whats on my screen that's not my problem its yours."

That's all him. Either the drunkest person I've ever talked to or the drunkest attempt at fraud I've seen.

I seem to have lost my "I am semi-speechless" meme. :p Some people...

With the number of times I call support over my bills, one of my calls is bound to end up in this thread. :p

He's definitely drunk, or either an ignorant rich guy, "I drive a Porsche Cayanne Turbo and my credit card has an $80,000 limited." What does he need to tell you this for!? Lol.

I'm guessing drunk scam. Most ignorant rich people I know (quite a few :p) would have left the rest of the conversation out since a statement like the Porsche one is generally used when wealthy people want to compare lightsaber sizes. :p

I guess that's what keeps some people getting out of bed in the morning. I had another guy the other day... "Google something to test it huh? I'm going to Google Mercedes CL65 AMG. That's what I drive."

    And shutup Ksky. <<; ... -.-;
