TV Discussion Fisto's Disco: The LACWAC Social Thread

Speaking of interview, sorry again for the delay, between dissertation and premature 21st celebrations I haven't had time to sit down for long enough to write my answer.

 

I got a 58 on the quiz.

Suddenly I'm glad Canada doesn't appear to use SAT scores. That I know of at least.

 

So we saw Jurassic Park 3D today. It was great, the 3D conversion may be the best one I've seen... very natural and realistic looking 3D that enhances the scenes without drawing attention away from the story. And it was truly a joy to get to hear a T-Rex and Velociraptors over a loud theater soundsystem again. My 6 year old son loved it, as predicted, but the surprise was that my 3 year old daughter really liked it too. We thought she might be pretty scared, but my wife wanted to see it too so we took a chance. I think my daughter was scared at times, but scared in a "fun" way... and she was too pulled in by the story to give up on it, so she ended up enjoying it.

 

Imax 3D with surround sound. The T-Rex attack on the jeeps was stunning with the surround sound. As far as post conversion 3D, it is probably the best I've seen. The best 3D I've seen in films was in The Adventures of Tintin.

I think I'll enjoy this episode more than the premiere - I like the storylines in this episode more.
