TV Discussion Fisto's Disco: The LACWAC Social Thread

Here is my issue with SW Battlefront. Almost everyone wants a game with state of the art graphics where they can run around in the GFFA. However, there is only one company that is allowed to make such a game. While nobody is entitled to such a game, I do think it makes sense for people to complain if they think the developer is taking advantage of the fact that they don't have any competition. My fear is that DICE knows they only have to make a mediocre game because the primary draw is obviously going to be the SW license.

 

Although it's EA but if you think about it who else could do a good job with it

I think Disney should have licensed SW games to more then one company for instance
Valve
Obsidian
Bethesda etc

 

So some weird cross stuff happened while I was on the beach today

I saw a 3 meter shark just laying dead on the beach with its guts all over the place

And so how was your day.

 

I gutted a 3 meter shark and left it on the beach.

 

I saw a maniac gutting a shark on the beach

 

Sharks are okay as long as they stay as far away from me as possible.

 

This one was dead so we were just chilling until animal control arrived to remove it and then I was hungry which was weird after what I saw.

 

Plebs in a MP is such a pain in the ass.

 

What are plebs and MP

 

Plebs = greenies. MP = multiplayer. I'm actually out of the intense MP arena (Unreal Tournament, Battlefield, etc), sort of retired and only dabbling in the Mass Effect 3 MP which is simplistic horde mode with objectives to achieve at certain waves. It doesn't help when greenies try to play in the harder modes; gold and platinum matches with level one weapons and at times, no equipment. Sometimes they're totally clueless what they're supposed to be doing during objectives and such players end up being a load of elephants than helpful teammates.

 

Noobs are the best in Online, especially in GTA Online. But that's because I'm an ***hole that enjoys hunting other players for sport

 

A Star Wars total conversion for Elite would be lovely though.

I guess one of the major differences would be that whereas every star in Elite is a real one known to science (some players have even made a point of making their way to the Sol system ingame, calling it a "pilgramage to earth"), in a SW conversion, none of them would be real, known stars. I guess they'd have all the known systems (for the sake of variety, they should draw heavily from the EU to populate the galaxy with star systems and planets) with locations for the same mapped out, and then have the rest of it filled in with a few billion procedurally generated stars.

This one took my by surprise. It actually doesn't matter since I can do another play-through in which I don't make such a choice but this one came right out of the blue (yeah Chloe you're so blue) I sat in my chair for 5 minutes, debating yes / no. lol.

 

That seems like an interesting game going by wikipedias description. Might check it out someday.

I have no hope for the new Dragon Ball Super anime and manga.
