Today is a day that the Force definitely needs to be with me. One of my loyal cats went on their Spirit Journey today. It has been brutal. He was with through some very dark times in my life. He was there when my Dad walked on in 2004. He was almost 15 years old, so to say I am having a difficult day is an understatement. But, I can say I was with him in the end, so he knew I was there. Still I'm a sad camper today. :(

For those who have pets, make sure you give them a hug.

I gave my cat a hug and behind-the-ear rub for you Scorpio. Fifteen is a good amount of time for a cat, and I'm sure he loved you a ton.

Yeah he did. It was tough to see him go, especially when there was nothing that I could do to help him. All I could do is be there. I won't lie though, I had a good cry today. Not afraid to admit it either.

I know how it feels man I lost my dog last year. Pets are some of the best things to ever happen to humanity.

Isn't that the truth. I liked my pets better than some of my relatives.

    Sorry Scorpio. :(

My cat was 15 when I lost him last summer; he had chronic pancreatitis and had been in pain for awhile but it was still hard.

That had to be tough. I'm doing better today, I laid him to rest in the backyard, and as per my Anishinaabe Custom I put some Semaa (Tobacco) in an envelope and buried him with it. He's on his Spirit Journey now. So even though he is physically not here, he's not gone. Neither of our Fur Babies are gone, they crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge.

    Ty for the Condolences.

Vikings is a show I've started more than once, but it just doesn't draw me in. I've been told more than once that if I finish the first season I'll definitely be hooked. Then again, I heard that about Breaking Bad, that it really starts getting good around season 3 and I gave up on that show in season 2.

I just finished season 1 of vikings but I mostly got pulled into the show because of strong female characters and the fact that I love viking related stuff. Have you watched anything new lately?

Westworld last night (highly recommend), the Lethal Weapon TV show (it's ok, I'm giving it a few more episodes to see how it develops), MacGyver (after the pilot, I am going to watch the second episode but I'm thinking this will be a pass), and Designated Survivor (passing on this after the pilot, characters come off too much like caricatures). I also tried Notorious, but HBO's Newsroom did what that show is trying to do much more eloquently IMO.

Tonight, Timeless premiers on NBC which has made me want to watch it since the initial teaser.

Well, Robotech is on Netflix. It's an oldy but a classic Americanized anime. Netflix also has the first half of Kuromukuro (I think that's how it is spelled) which is a decent anime on Netflix. Hits the normal tropes of the genre, but doesn't feel overly dumb.
