Basically the opposite of 'top five films you're embarrassed to admit you've never seen' thread. Which films have you seen where in retrospect, you wish you hadn't.

My five (in no particular order):

    1. Ghost Dad (on account of learning after the fact of Bill Cosby being a rapist and all)
    2. Twilight
    3. New Moon (these two were on account of having to accompany my nephew to see them. New Moon was the worst experience at a movie theater I've ever been too)
    4. Ready to Rumble
    5. Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (yes, I've actually seen this, though I believe I've blocked most of the details out of my memory)

Only one comes to mind right now: Legend of Hercules (not the Dwayne Johnson version).

Double Team starring Jean Claude van Damme, Mickey Rourke, and Dennis Rodman. This is, bar none, the worst film ever made. Ever. There was only one other person in the theatre. He left halfway through. I decided to tough it out. It was not worth it.

I have actually seen that. Did not think it was as bad as say Quest for Peace. Then again, I thought Rodman was the best thing in that movie.

If you take it for what it was, a campy film, it's actually fairly decent.

I agree. I'm actually quite a big fan of campy B movies.

    2. The Riddle (I beg of you. Never watch it)
    3. The Happening (Diggy, I paid to see this one as well)
    4. Barbie and the Rockers (Again, I'm sorry)
    5. The Garbage Pail Kids Movie (This is meant to be a kids movie, but it is disturbing as Hell)

As a kids movie Barbie and the Rockers was fine. I just don't need to see it again as an adult.

    PS: Jem did it better.

Does watching MST3k style takedowns of films count?

If it helps ease the pain, then yes.

MST3K helped me get through The Legend of Boggy Creek and Touch of Satan.

why would anyone be embarrassed that they saw a movie? i mean yeah if you saw la la land or the star wars prequels and you liked them, then sure maybe you should be a little ashamed, but not just because you watched them. this thread is reading more like "movies you didn't like".

by the way i adore many terrible movies including several mentioned in this thread and i have no shame.

Well, Ghost Dad is a prime example for me. I did watch that, loved it, and then when everything with Cosby came out, I was too horrified to ever want to watch it again.
