I really need to change my pants now...

The last trailer to make me smile that much was the original The Phantom Menace trailer back in '98.

    - Only Prime has the 'transforming' sound, and it sounds just 'added on'.
    - Starscream makes a vapour cloud in the city street as he aerobrakes before kicking the cars.
    - Jazz got stomped by Megatron.
    - The bit where Bumblebee's radio jumps around, the scene in the trailer here is 'distorted' by Sector Seven. Their logo appears when this happens.
    - Doctor Howard standing in a kitchen, watching the President speak on the TV. (Sector Seven website visitors will know her)
    - Looks like a bit of Elliot telling the bad people to leave ET alone!! (When capturing Bumblebee)
    - No voices yet? :(

OH FRAK ME! I just discovered something!! The Secotor Seven thingy I said above, take their on-screen word and use it as Sector Seven's password. wOOt!!!

As I post this I am going in to look!

    [edit - addition]
New NBE videos, one of a VW Beetle...new Agent in-charge videoblogs to TPTB...

Upping the "AWWWW, CUUUTE!" factor: Transformable PLUSH toys of Gen1 Prime and Bumblebee. I'm so getting one for when my brother's bub arrives.

    New Poster 1
New Prime Poster - Click 'all sizes' for the wallpaper version.
Bumblebee too. I wonder if these are going to be bus shelter posters?
Megatron too. It ain't no bucket-head Megatron, but this is the best (scariest/evil) pic I've seen of him yet. Wallpaper size is good!
Big UK Poster of the 3 guys above.

Kahlan: The Transformers version of Galactic Heroes: Robot Heroes.

Saw the toys at KMart Mt Omaney (sp) today, particularly "Softimus Prime"; 20% off, was thinking of getting softie, but decided against it... (about $11)

Also the galactic heroes (or whatever they are called) versions, unfortunately any that I wanted was bundled with one I didn't want / didn't care for, ie. Optimus was looking cool, but with bundled with some robot dog thing...

The big new Optimus was $95, down to around the $80 mark. Tried studying it to see where all of the bits go / come from, but still can't exactly sort it out.
All of the toys are very "plastic", as in a cheap look to the plastic. I'd like to get hold of one, pull him apart, take moulds, and do a proper version. Not going to happen though.

I take back the negative things I have said thus far about this project. It actually looks somewhat... like I might actually enjoy it.

What I would like to know about transformers:

Is it going to be in gold class? It comes out on my brother's birthday and it would be the perfect pressie. For him, of course.

It's happening already, RS. Others aren't happy with them and painting them up.
    Example: Protoform Optimus: a b c.

New images time! All these are from a Transformers Pool on Flikr. Lots of spoilers in there.
    - Wallpaper from the game.
    - Autobot and Decepticon wallpaper logos.
    - Hero Shot wallpaper of Prime from the Game.
    - Some Decepticons. Blackout, Frenzy, Megatron, Starscream.
    - Some Autobots. Bumblebee, Jazz, Prime and Ironhide.
    - Starscreams.
    - Primes.

    Song found on Sector Seven.
Guessing this is the official song for the movie - and my opinion is meh - apart from the guitar work.

I don't mind the song from a 'geek that loves cheesy 80s stuff' standpoint but I really hope this isn't in the movie... except maybe at the very tail end of the End Credits.

I was thinkning that too NeecH, hopefully it's buried in the credits - then realised that there's a chance of more stuff after-credits, as is becoming popular these days (PotC, Xmen3). Hmm... well if the second time I only ever have to hear it is in the credits waiting for something else, I'll survive.

The roll-call and 'watching out for you' makes me shiver. Apparently it's an 'unknown' band that people are assuming to be Lincon Park.

Ehh... I don't mind it particularly. It's much the same as Aerosmith's version of the Spiderman theme in that it's kinda cool and decent enough, but I can take it or leave it and aren't particularly fussed one way or another if I never hear it again.

And also like that song, this one has a much better cover done by someone else. Apollo 440, in Spiderman's case, and Meatbee in Transformers'. (Sorry for YouTube link, the MP3 link from their official site is down for some reason.)
